Survey gives BJP simple majority in UP assembly polls

“The BJP will win 202 seats in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2017,” says a Times Now-VMR survey. The party will return to power with a simple majority, the poll states. The BJP will win in 202 out of the 403 seats with a 34 per cent vote share. The party had won 155 seats in 2012.
