Ok last post about JayxJon then I'm done spiraling:
I wanted them to break up I'm sorry asdfunaefjna. There's no winning sides in this, but narratively (for the Absolute Power & Secret Six Run), Jay has been dealt the worse. And it's not fair. It's not fair that he's being expected to return back to his baseline normal. It's not fair that he has to appear comfortable in proximity to Nia (whomst his boyfriend also has feelings for/and she for him) after what she was a part of, even though it was under duress. And yeah if he doesn't want to accept a future where he has to keep the truth under wraps along with his feelings because of who he's dating, then that's fair.
I don't blame Jon for anything really, although his feelings for Nia need to be addressed. And if this ends up pushing the two of them together, then I simply will erase any and all memories I have of Jon, Nia, and Jay :)
The characters will be changing writers, so honestly any inconsistencies in characterization can be attributed to that. But man, I really don't want this to be a permanent thing. I do hope there's a way Jay and Jon can at least become amicable in the future, if they're not getting back together.
