Where: The Postcard - Crafts With Grandma
Gray wasn’t one for arts and crafts, but the old ladies at the Postcard said they needed some of their lights fixed. Who was Grayson Hall to deny the old ladies the help? He just loaded his ladder back into the truck bed now that the string of fairy lights were twinkling as expected when he made eye contact with someone. Gray paused for a moment. Years ago, he wouldn’t have hesitated but time made him change into someone different. Yet, something about this face didn’t fill him with the same sense of dread that usually came with a face seeming familiar but not quite remembering a name — that usually meant he recognized a reporter. With her white hair, he had a feeling she wasn’t on air reporting live from his front-yard. “Hi,” Gray greeted, finally. “Sorry for staring, you reminded me of someone for a minute. I’m Gray, sorry for staring again.”
