Only two semesters left and Bougie told me to start working more. When I moved here, he brought me into his company that Koa runs. And Koa has been teaching me how to make eco-parts. He has a huge project that started with one building for Walker's company. But while he was there, he was given the contract to build a new eco-friendly condo building for affordable rental units. It's a chance for me to take a position as a construction technician and move my way up. I wanted to get a degree, any degree, to make Jesse happy and then go back home and do my own thing in tech. But now? Never been to Ciudad Enamorada… it could be nice.

Walker: And some time with my guys. You don't focus on my life enough. Watcher: Okay, Walker! This is my space to talk, can I talk? You and that damn self-absorbed trait... Walker: I'm just saying. And don't forget Cliff is my best friend. Watcher: Okay, okay. He'll be around after your cousin's wedding. Walker: Make sure he wears a shirt. Watcher: Okay! Now stop talking before Jesse thinks I can do more than just bless you guys with more worlds and activities.

"Yuh worried too much, Walker. So yuh gain a lil weight. No big deal." Jesse was more worried about Walker's fever that he's insisting on sweating out.

"Yeah, yeah, Chief. Just give me the instant-slim-sim workout please. Don't have time for all your wellness and positive thinking talk. If this doesn't work, the watcher better fix it."

"Nothing to fix, Walks. Yuh look good."

"I wish that was true." Acadia won another Starlight Accolade but Walker was too concerned with his own looks to give his wife the support she deserved.

He did not notice how distracted he was until the next morning when she told him about Harrison babbling to her and saying "waaa mama" with a smile which she interpreted as him saying "wow, mama" (point to Harrison; Walker 4, Harrison 6). We didn't even take pictures as a couple? What was I thinking? What was the watcher doing?

Walker and Jesse focused on cardio while Koa used the rock climbing wall. He's hoping to climb Mt. K with his wife, Star, this year like Jesse did last year with Desi.

Then they cooled down separately. Walker needed his massage. Koa thought about his work projects in the sauna. And Jesse used yoga to clear his mind.

"Sorry I'm late, Jesse. I ran into the PTA's president." Desiree and Jesse made lunch plans in-between his meetings today.

"No problem. My meeting with Charlotte ran late. Now she wants me to get Dr. D'Souza to sign a non-compete."

"Really? I was hoping the acquisition would get a surgeon with a malpractice suit out."

"She's still the best in the city, Reds. Things happen in surgery."

"Hmmm. Anyway, did the gym help? Or are you still unreasonably pissed off?"

"Unreasonably?"

"It's just hair, Jesse. And she's a teen. You said she could do what she wants as a teen."

"I know. Was hoping she'd pick braids and wigs like you."

"I've straightened and chopped off my hair a bunch of times first. No major issues. And you know my self-esteem stuff has little to do with my hair. So…"

Jesse sighed and then smiled. "You're right, wife. I'm sorry. Yuh know what yuh want to eat?" If she wanted straight hair, she could use all dem gadgets yuh have in the house. She doh need all dem chemicals on she head.
