I made a new pattern, my first new one in 6 months or so. 🥳 It's a patchwork pattern with embroidery. I felt a bit rusty and it ended up different than what I had imagined, but I still like it. I think it has a denim vibe and thus I applied it on a skirt. As you can see, I felt like doing a bit of a photoshoot and decorating to mark the occasion! I'm not sure whether I''ll be making more soon or will publish anything in the near future since I am still very busy with RL stuff.

My newest knit pattern that I made yesterday is the one on shown the sweater. I love how varied a knit stitch can be!

I'm in the mood for knit and crochet patterns, so I polished some patterns I made over the last months (it's not as fun as making a fresh one so I tend to procrastinate on finalizing them). But I also included new ones in the pics, like the squirrel and duck patterns!

Shoutout to @grimothy-cc for her pullover and cardigan conversions 💜 Testing my patterns with them is so much fun! Patterns tile well on them and they often have a plain one that either is a smooth texture or just a light overlay so you can still apply patterns over them. They also have separate color channels for the hems, cuffs, and necklines so they can be used with complementary ribbing patterns.

Also I forgot to check where I got these shoes, but as you can see, they glow! I never saw anything like it, I didn't even know clothes could be made to glow. If I knew how I would make matching glowing nails! And maybe glow bracelets! I sat there and just aaaahed and ooohed while recoloring them!

After seeing this beautiful (infamous?) Vrg Grl crochet dress with strong 70's vibes that everyone seemed to want to crochet for themselves after Taylor Swift wore it recently, I wanted to turn the fabric into a pattern. And voilà! It's perfect as a beach cover-up dress, right? The outfit is from the Ambitions EP if memory serves me right. Doesn't look too shabby, does it?

All my new pattern WIPs from this month! 🌻 I miss flowers, so I made two vibrant floral knit patterns that give off a retro vibe. I spent a bit of time knitting again, and the striped pattern is made from a swatch I knit and then photographed. I wish we had CASt in real life so I could just dye my yarn on the fly!

A while back, I wanted to make a cute cat pattern but wasn't feeling the ones I've found. So I generated some cats with the Dall-E AI via Bing Copilot. Of course, you cannot use it as-is (the random cat tails and floating legs might be considered a bit macabre in a novelty pattern 🤣, plus it does not tile correctly). I feel like the best way AI can be used is as a tool, because most images are just uncanny and weird if taken as-is, and real art is just so much better. But as a sort of asset generator to generate stuff you can refine further and then use in your work, it seems to work well! I'm not entirely happy with the spacing/placement of the cats yet in my pattern, and I am contemplating whether to add further details around the cats (but I do like the minimalist version too). But I'm happy with the way the cats look!
