Eric: That’s a really pretty song. What’s it called? 

Sophie: Eric! Hi! Um… it doesn’t have a name. I just made it up. 

Eric: I like it. It’s really pretty. 

Sophie: Thanks. Doing some studying? 

Eric: Yeah. I’ve got a pretty heavy exam coming up in Literature. 

Sophie: If you need someone to help you study, I’m more than happy to help. Lit is my favorite subject. 

Eric: I’ll keep in mind for the next exam, someone’s already offered to help. 

Sophie: Oh. Who?

Grace: Me. I see that you’ve met Eric. My boyfriend. 

Sophie: Your… your what? 

Grace: My boyfriend. Do you need me to spell it out for you?

Eric: Grace, what are you talking about? I’m not– 

Grace: Eric darling, why don’t you wait outside, hmm? That way you don’t get caught in the crossfire. 

Sophie: There’s no need. I’ll be leaving you two to yourselves. 

Grace: Well. That was easy enough, wasn’t it?
