Hi! Was wondering how you got your first photo to look like a canvas in your Mathilda of Lancaster and Sansa posts. Is it some sort of overlay? Thanks
hello! i use a mix of gimp and canva for photoshopping & graphics on majority of my posts.
gimp has a canvas filter, which can be found from the filters tab in the main toolbar. order to select is "filters > artistic > apply canvas"
once you select this, there is a window that pops up with a few options. you can mess around with depth and direction of the canvas in the window that pops up.
the larger the number, the more depth to the canvas. depending on the image size, i typically use a depth of 1-3. I took one of the images from my Mathilda post, & applied the above settings
before and after!
i hope this is helpful! figured a little tutorial would be easier than just a quick answer - i personally am a visual learner lol.
