Roommates AU because you can always, ahem, arrange bed sharing if need be. :D

Man, I like them both but I think I want to go with arranged marriage.

11. Kid fic or childhood friends?

If kid fic means the main characters have kids, then kid fic because that’s where I am in life so it’s nice to be able to relate to it. :)

17. Describe a fic that is still in the ‘ideas’ stage.

Most of the time I don’t know what I’m going to write until I start writing it so I have no idea. There are a few that I want to do for friends like one with married with kids Kimax for @luckychrm and Ojiro and Hagakure having cute fluffy dates for @lahiffed so hopefully those will move out of the ideas and into the reality realm soon. <3

18. Do you have a fic reading/writing routine?

Nope. I just snatch time where I can through the day and try to get some stuff written.

That would be @lahiffed because I talk to her everyday and she’s pretty much the best and I love her except for when she tries to make me choose between things she knows I can’t.

Thanks! Just for Tonight actually began as a drabble commission on my other blog for an Adrinette vampire scene. I wanted to do something more than just a “You’re a vampire. I’m in love. Let’s be together forever.” type thing so I ended up creating a mini-universe to set the drabble in and it snowballed from there. 

As for the elf/vampire hybrid, the lovely Nathaniel, the credit for him goes to the amazing @auroralynne! She was blessing me with character sketches after the first few chapters and the sketch of Nathaniel made it look like he had pointed ears when she was doing the first sketch. We were laughing about it and calling him an elf and then the idea just sorta of bloomed. Nathaniel was originally going to be a low-tier vampire who lived in the slums and tried to keep out of everyone’s way and ends up getting himself tangled up with an injured hunter (Chloe). While some of it did happen that way, Nathaniel’s character arc took a massive rehaul all because of that sketch. @auroralynne is amazing and wonderful and fantastic and a lovely influence!

While I’m at it, I need to also say thank you to @miraculouspaon, @gabriel-fucking-agreste, and @lahiffed for letting me bounce ideas around about the story and helping me find these characters in ways I’m not sure I could have on my own. You guys are all so great and I’m so thankful to have wonderful friends I can talk through this story with.
