In this world, we are told who our soulmates are at the age of 15 with a red string tied around our finger that only we and our soulmate can see. 15 seems to be the most eventful year for everyone in the fairytale world, legacy year and the chance of meeting our soulmate, I’m feeling kind of impatient since my life has been filled with uncertainty. Many people usually know their destiny, and maybe who their soulmate would be by extension before they turn 15. 

Feb. 5th.

Six days before our 15th birthday, I'm anxious to finally know who my soulmate is. I have so many questions. My parents and brother told me that it looked like a glowing red string tied around the pinkie of your dominant hand, and that it appeared as the clock strikes 12, midnight, on your 15th birthday. Guess we'll just have to see, in less than a week. 

Feb 10th. 

It's currently 11:55pm, 5 more minutes until the red string of fate ties around my finger.

The wait is agony, I hope it's someone I like, or haven't met yet. Imagine if they were someone I absolutely detested, heh, shouldn't be. Right?

I'm finally fifteen, aren't I? Something must be off, there's no string tied around my finger, I can't see it. Why can't I see it?

I just talked with Darling, she was happy as could be. I told Darling that I couldn't see it and she actually suggested a really smart idea; My glasses might be blocking my sight (ironic I know) of the string. So of course I tried it in my own room just in case it didn't show.
