I just wish there was a way to better address this weird aggressiveness and inability to combat rejection, even in the smallest forms (ie me turning my head and ending the interaction on what could have been a friendly and harmless note).Ā
Somewhat sidebar but Iām reading this excellent book my best guy friend sent me that helped him a lot with how to interact with women and how to be a decent person in generalĀ
and itās all about how men need to stop putting that much investment in fleeting validation from women and be confident enough in himself that whatever rejection comes his way he can accept gracefully and move on to the next (which is also something Iām applying to myself and it works really well)Ā
I wish more people in general were like that honestly because yeah rejection hurts but itās no cause for aggressionĀ
anyway in other news Iām really fucking sick of how many encounters Iāve had where men made me feel unsafe/uncomfortable
