 “a group of men took my son from me, he’s all i’ve got left, and i’m trying my hardest to find him.” he explains, hoping she won’t slice his head off. he hadn’t known she had been inside the rundown store. he keeps his hands raised in surrender, irish accent heavy with sorrow, and desperation. he knows she’ll have to take his word for it, but he hopes she’ll see that he’s telling the truth. months on the road had left him looking hollow, and broken, but he’s pushing on for one reason.
