The sign-up form can look a little daunting to the uninitiated. Therefore, we're issuing a small explainer as to how the process works.
First of all: you make a request for a work you would like to receive. You will fill out that form, and give some details. You can submit up to two requests. You will only receive one gift, however - the multiple forms are simply to facilitate matching you up with someone.
Then, you make an offer. The offer gives basic details on what you would like to make, including what form of fanwork you plan on gifting to the exchange. Please submit at least three offers. Again, you will only have to create one fanwork, but multiple offers helps us ensure that everyone has someone to match with.

Step one: when the sign-ups are open, click the link and you will be brought to the sign-up form. On this form, there will be a "request" section and an "offer" section.
Step two: The Request form (see below) is what you would like to receive in the gift exchange. It is important to note that for matching purposes, the most important criteria is the "characters" section.
The description box here is to let your gift-er know what you Do Not Want, and any broad ideas you have for your fic that they can work off.
The optional tags box is for any tags you think might help your gifter get some ideas for their fanwork.

After submitting the two requests, you will move on to...
Step three: the Offer form. This is where you will detail what you are interested in creating. This is also where you let us know what you want to create - eg, a gif set.
If you don't mind what you write, then you can click the "any character" box! Please be aware, however, that this means you may be assigned any character, even one you really dislike!
Please see below the completed example for the Offer form. Remember, you need to submit three of these.
If you change your mind on anything you submitted, you can edit your sign-up offers and requests until they close on the 10/10/21.
