So the election is over, and Australia has gone with the nominally left-centrist party rather than the constantly moving further right party.
I’m relieved, that means my country has chosen stability over a party that tried to copy the situation in the US.
Reminding myself (and others) that it’s ok to leave parties early even at this time of year.
So over the past few days, southern NSW has had some incredibly strong winds. It seems to have mostly passed now, but unfortunately our cat enclosure was partially flattened. The cats are fine though, and in boarding until we can rebuild something for them to stay in.
Soma is fine, as he lives inside the house, we’d be in way more trouble if that was a problem
