“Vi, I’m pregnant.”

Vi looked at her friend, glazed white eyes blown wide in shock. Even though she couldn’t see the wide smile on Gabby’s lips, she could still tell something wasn’t right about this conversation. Not knowing what else to do, Vi approached her alowly, hands outstretched to try and find Gabby. Vi had a general awareness of where she was without using her powers, but she had almost no depth perception in this state. Her hands hit against Gabby’s chest a bit harder than she expected, but if it bothered gabby at all, she didn’t show it.

Vi’s hands slid across her chest, against her collar bone, down her breasts, to her stomach and gently held it. She felt Gabby’s stomach gently, like it would pop if she poked it too hard, keeping her touches light and her palms flat and only using the pads of her fingers to explore the fabric of her crush’s dress.

“Are you sure you’re not just fat?” Vi smirked a little, a rare sight, as she pushed Gabby’s stomach a little harder. She felt the slightly flabby tummy yield to her touch and laughed a little. She had no idea how red Gabby had turned and how hard her heart was racing from just having Vi touch her so cutely.

“WOW! RUDE!!!” Gabby put her hands over Vi’s feeling her fingers move beneath her palms and tickle her a bit. “Dont be rude to your future child, Vi!!!”

At that Vi’s hands stopped moving and she looked up at Gabby, eyes twitching forward to give the illusion she was making eye contact with Gabby. “What do you mean MY future child?”

Gabby snickered a little bit and moved her hands to hold Vi’s. “Violeeeeet~” Gabby whined playfully, “it’s your baby, don’t you want to help me name it?”

Vi’s joking attitude practically fell off her face as she dropped her hands away from Gabby’s. She did have a crush on Gabby, but if Gabby knew she certainly had an odd way of showing affection about it. Was she even showing affection? Was this a joke to poke fun at Vi for even liking her in the first place? Vi frowned and turned around and started to walk away. She could feel the atmosphere change with that one turn and immediately felt Gabby’s arms around her in a loose hug.

“OH CMONNNN, IT’S A JOKE! A JOKE!!!” Gabby laughed loudly and hugged Vi for dear life, thinking she might have actually upset Vi with the joke. “Are you upset?” Her tone had dropped. Her hug loosened a bit more, “I’m sorry, I meant it as a joke, I didn’t mean to upset you, Vi…”

Vi stood quietly, silently smirking in her mind. She was upset before, but now she was a bit entertained. But she couldn’t let Gabby feel bad for a (horribly disguised attempt at flirting/dropping a hint) silly joke.

Vi turned around in Gabby’s hug and gave sort of a half smirk, half frown. She draped her arms lazily around Gabby’s shoulders and stared forward. She couldn’t approximize how close together they were exactly, but from the shallow breathing vi felt against her chin and the gentle smell of strawberry mint lip gloss, she assumed they were decently close. Vi’s hands found their way to Gabby’s cheeks and rubbed her skin. Her fingers kneaded Gabby’s cheeks gently, squishing them back and forth until she got bored and pressed her palms against Gabby’s cheeks. With a small bit of effort, Vi brought their heads together and rested against her friends forehead.

Gabby was blushing bright red. “You know, I bet you’re really cute when your flustered like this,” Vi said. Her voice was a bit strained, she was trying her best not to breathe hot air into Gabby’s face by talking so close.

“W-…I um…”

Vi laughed, her cheeks pushing up and making her eyes squint. It was a face that made Gabby’s eyes light up with happiness. She hugged Vi a little tighter, arms pulling her closer by her waist.

Vi laughed gently and closed her eyes.

“Hey,” she whispered, “can we stand here like this for a bit? I wanna get to know my new baby a bit.”
