#1123 - Sidymella trapezia - Trapezoid Crab Spider
Spotted in a hedge, by Smokey Hawkins, a old friend of mine in Sydney. Distinguished from the similar S. longipes by the fact that her two pairs of front legs are roughly equal in size. Quite common across Australia.
Originally placed in Stephanopis, then into Sidyma, but in the 1940s somebody noticed that Sidyma was already a genus of moths, so the entire genus was renamed.
