We met at London Transport Museum’s Acton site for our third session to explore London’s Service Design and Infrastructure. Here we had a whistle-stop tour of their amazing Deopt, holding a staggering 95% of LTM’s collection - then we armed ourselves with GoPro cameras, GPS tracking devices, SLRs, compasses, iPads, mobile Aps … basically everything we could lay our hands on to help us track and document our journey.
This video gives you a sneak preview of our day, from Hammersmith Flyover (and under) to The Crystal, we took bikes, boats, busses, tubes … we saw London from up high and down low, we ran, walked, climbed, we met architects, observed commuters … we even found a dinosaur!
Next week we head back to LTM Covent Garden to put our research into action - combining our insights before pitching our Connections Model update recommendations to LTM.
