despite having the same name as the titular character of the series , percy ( xavier-lehnsherr ) & leo are basically kin. while leo tends more tactile intelligence and percy tends more to musical intelligence. both are adhd as shit as well. leo grew up in foster care & percy spent time in it. and both use their humor as a coping mechanism.

it’s almost entirely because cyrus is jewish, because everything about him ( dealing with his sexuality, while percy just sort of... knew, having social anxiety, while percy... doesn’t care ) doesn’t fit.

phoebe is like a way cooler percy. he doesn’t meld with her ‘ the universe ‘ personality, but he does with the absoloute rest of her. a twin, a human disaster who won’t admit it, someone without even a ‘ pla. ‘

this excludes all of void stiles ( percy... cannot reach that level of big dick energy in this lifetime ). the sarcasm, the bony wonder, the absoloute lack of flight-or-fight instinct. percy, too, is his world equivalent of the only human in that he’s the only fighter who can’t use his powers to do so.

same stupid brand of humor. both human disasters. they’re powers are not the same ( nathan has retroactive ressurection, or something like that ), while percy just heals, but the things nathan says about his ressurection is very on point for percy.

DUSTIN HENDERSON ― why are you keeping this curiosity door locked?  ❞ vis STRANGER THINGS

both have a speech impediment ( while percy has a stutter, dustin has a lisp ). they both have bad judgement, or at the very least a bit of it. both are smart, while dustin is more obviously smart.

LANCE ( MCCLAIN ) ― here’s an option. shut your quiznak.  ❞

lance reminds me of percy soo much. of course, they’re different ( percy is not a paladin voltron , cuban , or a fuckin space cadet ), but personality wise there’s def some correlation. same brand of off-hand humor. while lance overcompensates with “ arrogance , “ percy overcompensates with apathy.

this is more about season one eva than season two-four eva. season one eva feels almost identity less &  thats something percy feels sometimes as well. also, both a bit depressed.

BLOOM, molly   (   molly’s game   )   /   people have asked me what my goal was at that point, and back then, i would have laughed at the question. i was raised to be a champion, my goal was to win. at what, and against whom? those were just details. 

she didn’t NEED to do what she did. molly bloom had a promising future ahead of her, if she chose to follow the dynastic plan and head to law school. she had a gold plated resume that would have gotten her any job she wanted, even if she DIDN’T. but she enjoyed the game. she was GOOD at it. she didn’t need to be a gambler to host it, and she didn’t need to be a RICH MAN to steal the game back from who stole it. she had everything she needed in the form of her intelligence and her wits ; and she succeeded thanks to them, and in spite of all else.

SABERHAGEN, salem   (   sabrina the teenage witch   )   /   dogs guard. cats watch... and judge.

the mouthy cat that tried to take over the WORLD. salem’s need for plush comforts and desire to be bad, even without the medium to allow it, is part of what inspires nadia’s character. the rest lies in his witty comebacks and tantrums when things don’t go exactly his way ; the fact he’s a CAT is just a happy coincidence.

OCEAN, deborah   (   ocean’s eight   )   /   if you’re going to have a problem with stealing, then you’re not going to like the rest of this conversation.

a woman after my own heart - fresh out of jail and already planning the biggest public heist the world would ever SEE. debbie is bold. she’s intelligent, and she’s resourceful, and most important ; she’s VENGEFUL. she’s perfectly capable of pulling off the met gala robbery, when she knows that the man who wronged her will get his just punishment at the end of it all. the bonus lesbians along the way are just an added bonus. 

FROST, emma   (   marvel comics   )   /   and yes, i am a massive snob ; but there was no need for you all to think it at once.

every INCH a queen, even without status nor station. emma has achieved everything that she’s ever achieved, HERSELF. she’s survived by grace of her own will, she has thrived because she has never allowed herself to not. she may verge into the area of morally grey more often than NOT, but her interests - while most often self absorbed - can sometimes act to the good of others, too. she’s more than a pretty face.

KYLE, selina   (   dc comics   )   /   i’m a thief, and stealing is what i do best. not so much for the prize or the possession or even the profit ; but for the art of doing it, because i can, and because i’m good at it.

BECAUSE SHE’S GOOD AT IT. not because she needs it. with all selina has ever done, she could afford a plush lifestyle until the end of her days in a city far from the slums of gotham - but she chooses not to go. she consciously decides to carry on. she seeks out the thrill of the robbery, and she’s good at what she does. moreso than all of that ; while NUMBER ONE is never far from being top priority, selina has made a habit of taking the young and the misfortunate under her watchful gaze. she protects women. she loves cats. she steals from the rich and she makes herself more rich ; but she remembers the people she CARES for, and she takes care of them in kind. 

KLUGER, daphne   (   ocean’s eight   )   /   [ how many carats is it? ] enough.

spoiled rotten. willing to change loyalties at the DROP of a dime. daphne wasn’t meant to be a part of the plan - but she made sure that she became a necessity, regardless. and she did GOOD. she used appearances to deceive. never had she ever been more talented than when she was becoming a criminal overnight, and in her case - money really does buy happiness. 

PANDEMONIUM, santánico   (   from dusk til dawn   )   /   in here, i’m the queen.

there isn’t a man alive who can tell her what to do - and never will there ever be. she looks out for HERSELF, because lessons have taught that no one else ever will. she does what she does for herself, because sometimes, being ruthless is the only way to get something done. you can care for someone like her. you can work alongside her. you can get to know her, come to love her, become the closest anyone ever was ; but you can NEVER tame her, and you can never predict her actions.

salem’s sense of humor is very on point for bobbi. she didn’t try to take over the world and got punished, or anything, but there’s still something there. funnily candid. a bit of a bitch. loyal to a fault.

REGINA MILLS / EVIL QUEEN ― since when do i care about anyone’s happiness but my own? ❞

big latina dick energy. they both live sorts of double lives, while regina’s is super literal and bobbi’s is definitely more figurative. fighters, moms, badass bitches.

LEIA ORGANA ― i know. ❞

leia organa, like bobbi morse, is one badass bitch. like, wow, she’s the best. they share a super big dick energy and leadership qualities. leia’s force sensitive & bobbi’s enhanced. they both also come from noble ( or, in bobbi’s case, elite ) families.

JIM HALPERT ― you pet the animals, they pet you back.  ❞

same sense of humor. deadpan snark. they both have a nice talent at getting under people’s skin. oftentimes, they both feel as if they’re the smartest person in the room ( they usually are ).

CALLIOPE IPHEGENIA TORRES ― you don’t destroy the person that you love.  ❞

bisexual latinas who are ... truly goddesses in their own right. i get a lot of the inspo for bobbi’s more latin side from callie ( as well as shit my mom says / does ). they’re also both super dedicated to their work ( callie’s being surgery and bobbi’s being teaching ).

HEATHER CHANDLER ― well, fuck me gently with a chainsaw. do i look like mother theresa?  ❞

bobbi’s girlfriend didn’t exactly kill her or anything because she didn’t listen when the rest of the popular kids said to not fuck with the weird kids, BUT that doesn’t mean that bobbi and heather aren’t similar. heather is a lot of like bobbi pre-bobbi, back when she was just some rich people’s kid.

ANNALISE KEATING ― prayers are for the weak.  ❞

both have big dick energy, though bobbi has only a fraction of what annalise has, because that’s all that’s physically possible. they’re dedicated hard-workers and feminists. don’t fuck w these ladies. also, bi.

SALLY JACKSON ― if my life’s going to mean anything, i have to live it myself. ❞

a mom. a human with a gift ( bobbi’s being the supersoldier serum & the infinity formula, sally’s being able to see thru the mist ). a really, really good person who just wants to protect her kids. art credit to @viria, who drew all the official pjo art.

MELISSA MCCALL ― you can save people’s lives, but you can’t live them for them. ❞

kayle, league of legends - big buff angel lady with a sword aside - she fights for justice above all else, but acts as judge jury and executioner.  she thinks herself righteous, and can forget of opinions other than her own. 

sailor jupiter, sailor moon - the tallest amongst her friends, and comes with that the weight of the world you have to hoist above everyone elses head. it’s also a point of self consciousness; a contradiction with any more stereotypically girly tendencies one might carry. it’s loyalty to a fault, and duty, justice, unto death.

ginny weasley, harry potter - fiery redhead with a mouth that’s better not crossed; manipulated in youth and grew up all the stronger. family ties are the hardest to break. genetic ginger. an often overlooked but invaluable member to any team. can easily hold her own in a fight.

troy bolton, high school musical - if you look like you are made for a sport, people are less inclined to let you enjoy singing, or musical theatre, or acting. that’s it. that’s the tie. i just put this here because i could so i did.  adora, she-ra - in the words of mermista ‘ she’s an 8ft giant with a sword. we want her on our side.’ dorky, often in trouble, believes all problems can be solved if you all work together, led astray into a group with malicious tendencies to come around only later to realise that they were blindsided. heel-turn to the good side. 

korra, legend of korra - big biceps. big into the #ladies. a strong group of friends, and a stronger sense of humor, but still this sense of self-reliance, the ability to do everything by themselves. a heavy reliance for gifts they were born with and a do first think later kind of attitude. always in some kind of trouble they know they can work their way out of.
