#sick dick

Y'know dick was always traveling throught the world in the circus when he was a child...

So, what if thanks all the weathers he had to get throught (like, yesterday you were in europe and then you traveled to latin america; the weather changes completly!) So he has this weird capacity to afford almost every temperature (if it is not too extreme and with the correct clothes obviosly) but he can be in -10 degrees and then travel and be at 35 °C degrees and be like, súper fresh, while everyone who is with him is súper suffocated or cold and feels weird and disorientated because of the change of hourly use when traveling but he is totally used to this kind of change, he is cool, he lived traveling, he is in his comfort zone in that kind of missions

And everyone feels totaly jealouse of that capacity of his

Also, he almost never gets sick, and when he does he really get bad.

He will deny he is sick because on the circus (and in the media in general) the show must go on.

When one grayson had a cold, the family would use a saffety net because they were daring to the death but they weren't stupid. To do that you have to try to give your 100% and when you're sick you just can't, and your body will probably be súper tired and wanting you to sleep. But they didn't stop the performance unless the sickness was really hard.

Is just, The Flying Graysons were the principal act on haly's so, if they didn't act, people usually got mad, they had to act, it was their duty and they had to do it excellent and be as gracefull as posible while doing it.

I've been performing since i was a child, and you can't and shouldn't show any sight that you don't feel right.

You have to act as if you are ok. And always smile. Is one of the hardest things of being an artist. So Dick learned since he was a kid HOW to hide his sickness, even when his mother almost never let him act while he was sick because he was still a kid, he grew up watching, first, his parent's working while they were sick and then, Bruce, who does the batman work with fevers and bad colds and worst things. Besides, latter, when he was robin, he was indoctrinate in not to show any weakness to your enemies. If you do so, you are probably death.

For dick, hide his sickness is so natural that sometimes he doesn't even notice he is hiding it until someone told him he was in fact doing it. Sometimes he doesn't even notice he is sick. Mostly with fevers. When he have fevers, almost always someone else notice it for him

Imagine Dick as a kid, who has to go to school but really doesn't want to. He almost never has cold, but this morning? He was even shaking! Gotham is always cold, even in summer it's pretty fresh, but in december? Almost always is freezing! Dick thinks the morning is just colder than the usual, he gets up, even if he really doesn't want to, and when he is almost in the dinning room the smell of alfred's delicious pancakes gets him ... and he feels dizzy and suddently nauseous. He stops in the door and this, of course, hasn't gone unnoticed by alfred

Dick walks in, and alfred notice he is off., quiet and his movements are not as fluent as they always are...

And then he notice dick's teeth are shaking

Since he has known master Dick, he hadn't seen him shaking for Gotham's natural cold weather. Someting is wrong, so, without a word, alfred takes one thermometer from his jacket (where did he get it? No one knows but him) and then they notice Dick had fever, he stayed in bed for one week.

This kind of situations are super normal in dicks life!
