Should I finish this or not?
So, I was reading A Fever of 39 Degrees by osasimi and thought of sharing a little something I scribbled long ago but never got to finish.
Please note that English is not my mother tongue and therefore there might be some mistakes. Feel free to message me if anything and I’ll edit this post as soon as I can. Also, tell me what you guys think ~ ! <3
Basically, Hinata's burning up and Kageyama is worried sick. Solo practice at the gym from Kageyama’s POV.
*** He didn’t have the strength to yell “Mo ikkai!” one more time. Hinata Shōyō, from the concrete, fell right before my eyes after our umpteenth failed attempt of the day to do a proper quick. Three hours of practice and we accomplished nothing. Frustrating as it was, I had other priorities at the time. “Hinata!” I shouted, running towards him. “Hinata, are you okay?” Of course he wasn’t. By the time I reached out for him he was almost senseless and could barely keep his eyes open. I could tell he wasn’t just exhausted by all the running and jumping around, he was sick. I’ve never seen him like this before, not even after the infamous match against Aobajōsai at the Inter-High. “K-Kageyama-kun...” the orange boy whispered, a voice so soft I could barely hear it. He was panting, moaning and visibly shaking. I was terrified, but I had to do something. And quickly.
“That's it, I'm gonna take you to the infirmary. Can you stand up?” What kind of a silly question was that? Jesus, Kageyama. “No, forget that. I’m gonna pick you up now, just put your arms around my neck and hold on tight, okay?” He didn't answer. I put his arms in place and got up, even if all I could feel was a weak grip on my shirt and Hinata's heavy breathing. “Stay with me, you hear? Just please stay with me,” I said while looking at that tiny, vulnerable thing I was holding in my arms. He looked nothing like the lively, annoying dumbass I've always known. I just wanted him back.
*** Did I mention it was Sunday? The infirmary was closed, as was the rest of the school apart from the gym, thanks to Takeda-sensei. Hinata was getting paler and paler with every passing minute. He was shivering, coughing, had a feverish look in his eyes. I knew it was bad, but somehow he was hanging on. “Kageyama-kun, I'm not... feeling very well,” he said tightening his grip, his eyes clearly unfocused. It was a miracle that he still was conscious and all I did was dragging him around the schoolyard, jacketless, sweaty and shivery as he was. I had to go back to the club room, that's where our phones were. “Hang on, Hinata. Just a little more, okay? It's gonna be fine, I promise.”

“Hinata?”
