        THERE’S  VERY  FEW  THINGS  that  zihao  considers  to  be  off  limits  ;  even  though  he  hasn’t  spent  more  than  a  few  months  in  one  place  since  he  was  in  high  school,  his  apartment  is  one  of  them.  (  the  others  being  any  mention  of  his  motivations,  the  reasons  he  does  what  he  does  or  anything  pertaining  to  what  goes  on  deep  down,  where  chaos  fetters  his  heart.  )   from  the  start,  though,  rowon  has  been  the  exception  he  never  thought  he’d  make  to  the  very  few  rules  he  had  set  up  for  himself.  his  natural  instinct  is  to  look  after  himself,  and  only  himself,  but  the  sense  of  helplessness  that  rowon  has  always  displayed  has  caused  him  to  develop  a  deep - set,  blossoming  soft  spot  for  him,  a  genuine  and  pure  attachment  that  he  never  thought  he’d  develop  for  someone.  it’s  what  led  him  here,   offering  him  entrance  to  the  borderline  appalling  hole  that  is  his  apartment,  unable  to  leave  him  alone  for  the  night  again,  knowing  the  conditions  he  lives  in.  as  temporary  as  he  thought  this  stay  would  be,  he’s  settled  down  quite  well,  meaning  that  there’s  clothes,  discarded  cardboard,  and  items  that  should  be  stored  in  his  drawers  littered  around  the  room.  “  so,  ”  he  begins,  shutting  the   door  behind   him  and  leading  the  way  towards  the  living  room,  forgetting  to  leave  his  shoes  at  the  entrance  (  it’s  a  habit  he  never  quite  adopted,  but  who  would  be  surprised?  )  “  here  we  are.  pretty  fucking  cute,  right?  ”  he  asks  with  an  awkward  chuckle,  leaning  down  to  grab  a  few  things  off  of  the  floor  and  stacking  them  on  the  dining  table.  of  course,  he’s  self  aware  enough  to  know  that  his  place  is  the  opposite  of  cute,  but  he  wants  to  see  how  rowon  will  react  before  admitting  it.      

                          he decided to drive himself to the restaurant , wanting to separate himself from dee    &&.   her boyfriend as much as he can tonight . it was a rather cute place , a small noodle restaurant that he knows dee loves . granted , the young racer wasn’t really in the mood for anything they serve here , but he knew that if he didn’t show up or put up any kind of a fight , he’d hear it for the next six months . jinsoo    SPOTTED    dee’s familiar car in the parking lot , him letting out a final sigh in an effort to get rid of any annoyance they could be shown on his face . 

                          jinsoo entered the restaurant , already hearing dee’s familiar    LOUD    voice at one of the tables . walking over to where they were all seated , he was a little taken aback by the young lady sitting beside an empty seat — his seat . jinsoo instantly recognized her as the woman he spoke to at one of his races a few weeks back , her asking him countless questions about his major    &&.   the engineering book he decided to study right before getting out onto the roads . he also remembered her for the sole fact that he found really fucking adorable . 

“ ah, chul-nim, do you need some help? that tray looks heavy. ” his tone a bit playful for sure, but also pretty genuine ━considering chul’s continuous reluctance in not wanting to help around but ending up with him doing that out of pride━, lips curling in a small smile as the fingers kept dancing across the strings. “ once you’re done here i’m sure we can go home. ” 

             HOW  EMBARRASSING  to  be  the  kid  holding  up  the  lunch  line  like  this  -  and  on  chicken  nugget  day  of  all  days  .  kirby’s  face  is  pink  in  embarrassment  as  he  counts  out  his  quarters  .  why  couldn’t  his  mom  have  just  filled  his  lunch  account  this  morning  instead  of  insisting  on  waiting ??  it’s  right  there  on  the  cafeteria  floor  that  kirby  thinks  he’s  going  to  have  his  final  moments  when  ,  miraculously  ,  the  boy  standing  in  line  behind  him  steps  forward  and  saves  the  day  ,  telling  the  lunch  lady  that  he’ll  use  his  lunch  number  to  pay  .  when  kirby  turns  to  thank  him  ,  he  really  isn’t  expecting  it  to  be  someone  so  handsome  .  head  bowed  in  embarrassment  ,  kirby  quickly  takes  back  his  quarters  and  gets  out  of  the  way  so  that  he’s  no  longer  a  nuisance  to  the  other  kids  in  line  .  as  much  as  kirby  doesn’t  want  to  face  the  hot  senior  that  just  paid  for  his  meal  ,  he  did  just  pay for  his  meal  so  it’s  only  polite  to  thank  him  .
