It's #nationalpolkadotday and here's a picture of @chimingr and I taken by @pinek23 from a few years back. I briefly talked about this on my story, but I think it deserves a full in post - and we need a little bit extra sunshine after my WoW post. Polka dots are such a fun way to infuse color, life and movement to art, clothes or really anything. And I think that it's so incredible they have a day of their own to be celebrated! Also, this photo was taken on Ash's 18th birthday. Pretty damn incredible to look back on. We went to the @thehuntingtonlibrary to soak in the last of cherry blossom season. I wrote dozens of poems while we were together and I recall this day fondly enough that it continues to appear in my writing. It's rare Ash and I have time together - especially cause he's in college and I'm working at the coffee shop, hosting the podcast, writing books (that's right books #2 is already almost finished!), and reinforcing my relationships no matter the distance between us. So it is all the more wonderful that we had this adventure together.
