The Munâs Interpretation
â Do you agree with fandom interpretation of your character?
I think sheâs better than most give her credit for. Applying therapy to the Ace Attorney universe is a great thing.
I certainly donât agree with the Mary Sue accusations. I think you need to stretch the definition of Mary Sue in order to include Athena. Which Iâve seen some do, ignoring her obvious character flaws and weaknesses.
There are two views I agree with, however.
The first is that she continues the trend of adding gameplay gimmicks and the spunky teenage sidekick. Sheâs the spunkiest assistant, but she also holds her own as a lawyer.
The second is that itâs convenient that her ability is needed to take down DDâs antagonist.
â Any unpopular opinions about your muse?
Is it unpopular to ask to make her more playable?
shymonkeys replied to your post âI wonder if Athena could have been playable in The Cosmic Turnabout....â
//this would have made that level so much more enjoyable tbh (not that it wasn't already lol)
I can think of a reason why not to play as Athena, and thatâs to introduce the Magatama.
But it could be like Turnabout Academy, where Apollo can use his bracelet even though heâs not playable.

Heyyyyyy! :D Thank you! Â Itâs good to be back!
[shymonkeysâ now that I have officially finished all of my shitty finals, I can do this without feeling guilty, weeeeeeeeee. I suppose you still want to do this, as I was kind of eager.]
He didn't know what had happened exactly. He remembered a cold night, and that woman, that horrendously stinky woman, looking at him as if he were the embodiment of all of his fears. Then, a strong pain in his neck. And after that, darkness.
He had lost a lot of blood, or that's what the doctor had said, looking at him with compassion. That look had made his blood boil, but he felt too weak to complain. He could have died. He should have died. But, apparently, luck was feeling generous with him that day... given the circumstances.
Due to his condition, the judge had decided not to send him to prison again. It was better for his health to breathe fresh air, to eat properly, and to sleep more than he usually allowed himself to. It felt almost wrong, his sudden freedom, and the lack of clear responses about the issue. He had tried contacting Souta, with no avail. He had asked the shitty prosecutor about it. The bastard hadn't told him shit. He was worried, truly worried, but nobody gave him even a hint about his friend. Even if... deep down, he knew what had happened, more or less. That's why he wanted to meet him so bad. To have answers.
He walked towards the circus, not being sure if he would find Souta there. Not sure if his presence would even be appreciated. A part of him urged him to flee, but he ignored it. He wanted to see Souta. He wanted to be sure that Souta was okay. In a way, he wanted his suspicions to be false. Not that Manosuke had ever been a lucky man.

A Game of Chess | @shymonkeys
After the circus show concluded, Ray stood from his seat and exited the tent. It had been awhile since he'd seen a circus show, but that was only one of his reasons for coming. The small box tucked under his arm, he made his way to the tent in the back where a number of animals were visable. He walked inside the tent, where he saw Simon tending to the animals. He spoke to Simon, who turned around.
"Simon. It's nice to see you again. I hate to be a bother right after your show, but if you could spare a minute...", he presented the object that had he had been carrying under his arm- a chessboard, folded up and a tad worn from years of use. "This was among Horace Knightley's positions. A wooden chessboard. Nobody wanted it, so I took it with me. I don't have a lot of people to play with, so would you like to play a short game?"
