Solari walked up past the forest they had currently be residing in for a few weeks. "So, Alex. I know you're shy so I wanna tell you about the people at our base. Zac, the cat lover. Jordan, the huntsman, and Talor, the athletic. Any questions?" "Are an-any of them... loud? I don't like loud things...if its not my mus-music I don't enjoy lo-loud things. " the young boy, Alex, stuttered as he pulled one of the headphones he had in his ear out. "Most of us, kind of. If you don't like loud, I don't know how you would feel about Talor. And Zac." Solari looked at Alex and chuckled. "You're gonna have to learn to open up to people more. We don't wanna force it out of you!" "Y-yes miss. I'll try..." the fourteen year old replied nervously. "Enough with the 'miss' stuff! Just call me Solari!" She laughed. "O-Okay, Solari. Are w-we here?" Alex stuttered as they approached a dimly lit circle of tents with loud chatter going on around the centre bonfire. "Yeah. HEROS! Gather 'round!" Solari yelled as she walked to one of the chairs around the bonfire, setting up another one for Alex. "But we're already in a circle? So basically we were already around." Talor replied sarcastically. That was followed by a small 'roasted' from Jordan "Listen here you sarcastic piece of shit!" Solari laughed, putting her hand on Alex's shoulder, Alex visibly flinching. He still hasn't looked up from his feet to see the others faces. "This is Alex. He's fourteen and part of the Hunters now. Introduce yourselves!" Solari said to the other three hunters. Alex looked up slightly to see Jordan in front of him, waving excitedly. "Hi, Alex! I'm Jordan, we're a family here so there's no need to be shy!" Jordan smiled, patting his head. Alex nodded a bit before looking to the blonde girl who introduced herself as Talor excitedly. He whispered a greeting. The final one was a guy who looked about 16 with a cat next to him. He had dark brown hair and purple highlights. He had bright purple eyes. Alex honestly thought the man was breathtaking. He was at a loss for words, even though he usually didn't have many words to say. Alex was too fascinated with his appearance too hear what he was saying. 'Oh my hot damn that is a /fine/ piece of ass...' he thought. He might have been shy, the the innuendos and sex jokes he made in his head made him seem like he was actually his age. "So, I guess Zac will be showing you around. We don't usually stay in one place for very long because we travel for quests a lot. But we'll be here for a week or so." Solari rambled as she looked through a stack of papers that were meant for a quest. "-I'm sorry... What? I hon-honestly wasn't paying att-attention I'm very sorry...." Alex blushed slightly. "Uh- Zac. He's showing you around. We move around a lot because quests. There's your summary." Talor said from the back. Zac smiled, watching the fourteen year old stumble along his words, noticing how he was shy. "It's not much, we extended the woods a bit so I guess it's kind of easy to get lost. That's if you don't know your way around." Zac said "Y-Yeah. Got it. I me-mean /damn/ you're fine- I mean-" Alex stumbled over words and if his hood wasn't over his face partially we would have been blushing noticeably. "Wait, what? Sorry, I kinda zoned out." Zac apologised. 'Oh thank god...' Alex thought he had heard him. "I-I said I g-got it." "I noticed you have a stutter. And that you're kinda shy. Also- why don't you take off that hood. It's the summertime- aren't you kinda hot?" Zac asked, petting his cat. "I think it is kind of wa-warm..." Alex replied, just noticing how hot it actually was. 'Thats not the only thing that's hot...' he thought as he pulled his hood off of his head and rolled up his sleeves. "What's her name? The cat." he looked up to Zac to reveal his shining light green eyes and light brown hair that fell over his eyes. "Er- her name is Angel." he held up his white cat. 'Woah, this kid is kinda cute- wait. What? You shouldn't be thinking that. Stop doing that, Zac.' Zac mentally slapped himself. Alex patted the small cat and smiled when she purred. 'Oh my god he is really cute...' Zac muttered to himself, thanking that Alex didn't hear anything. "She's a troublemaker. Found her while I was freeloading off of some guys creative supplies. She came up to me and fought me out of my fish and milk. Asshole." He made a face at Angel and she hissed back. "I-I-I can't believe th-that such a cutie could b-be a troublemaker! I-I mean, I could be-believe it if you were a troublemaker- I mean-" His breath hushed as he whispered "I-I'd tap that" Alex stuttered, accidentally indirectly calling the teen in purple cute. "Oh you're a flirt, are you? I mean, you're cute and you have the stutter. We'll be the cutest team in MineCraftia! Men and woman will swoon at our very appearance!" Zac exclaimed excitedly. Alex tried to respond, but he was too embarrassed at the fact he let his more...explicit side come out. "Um, I g-g-guess so. Seems cool. But I ,uh, don't even l-look all that decent...m-my hair is me-messy and my eyes are th-the-the color of muddy green paint..." Alex frowned, throwing his hood over his head and tugging on the strings of his hoodie. "Uh, no dude! I like your hair, it kinda gives the messy but badass look since it covers part of your eyes. But- please! As if your eyes are the color of muddy paint is the worst description of the year! Your eyes are the color of the shiniest of emeralds, Alex." Zac mused. Alex blushed, listening to everything Zac was saying. He could tell he was being honest, he could tell by his body language. Open palms, leaning inward, and arms and legs unfolded. "I d- I don- don't really think th-that's ac-accu-ac-" he stopped, seemingly unable to pronounce the word without stuttering. "Accur- ac- ugh!" he sighed painfully and blinked rapidly. "I- I can't-" Alex's face contorted in anger. Zac put his hand on Alex's back in comfort. "Hey, dude, you okay? Take your time, Alex. I don't mind. The stutter doesn't bother me," He patted Alex's head and smiled. "You got this." Alex frowned. He never understood why fluent people always thought stuttering was completely controllable. "I don't th-think that's very right. I'm so small and weak. No one would want this." he gestured to himself and frowned. "And I ta-take forever to ta-talk because o-of my, um, sp-speech im-impediment... so lame..." Alex put his hood over his head and set Angel down. Zac was confused as to why Alex would think like that. "Nah dude! You're gonna be like, my bro now. As your new bro, I'm gonna build up your self-esteem! You're never gonna think lowly of yourself again!" Zac pointed at Alex in a Phoenix-Right type of pose. "Now you gotta tell me all about yourself!" Zac smiled. Alex was startled at his outburst. "U-Uh. I'm 14, 5'4 a-and I'm kinda small. I-I'm a really bi-big fan of H-H-Hollwood Undead and Mayd-Mayday parade. Speech ther-therapy never really helped me wi-with my stuttering. My mus-music choices are gen-ge-generally punk rock or cl-clas-classical music." Alex rambled, saying the first things that came to his head. He decided to leave out the more explicit thoughts out. Zac grinned, taking in the information. "There's gotta be more! What's your favorite color? Sexual preference? Favorite animal? Why do you stutter? Who's your family?" Alex gulped, the immense amount of questions was a bit overwhelming. "U-Um, I-, uh, m-my favorite col-color is orange- I mean, lik-like a firey k-kind of ora-orange! Um, cats are pr-pr-pretty cool," Angel purred, jumping onto Alex's lap. "U-Uhm, anxiety issues are w-wh-why I stutter-" Alex's eyes widened. He couldn't let them know his family. They wouldn't treat him the same. He quickly conjured a lie. "Uh- my m-mom and dad are Alexandria N-N-Night and Edward Night- my sis-sister, uh, her name is Rosaline. Sh-She's 18." He looked away, quickly glancing at Zac and back to his feet. "I uh... I like dudes." Zac was ecstatic to hear that he liked dudes. He didn't really know why the surge of happiness went through him as he learned this information. "Sweet. I like dudes too. We can be the gay team!" Zac laughed, and Alex chuckled with him. "Hey! Zac! Newbie! Get over here! We decided on our target!" Jordan yelled from a few meters away. He waved the target planning paper around to signal where he was. Zac got up first, and showed Alex the way back to the camp. Zac jogged forward. Alex sighed dreamily. He looked at Zac's ass as he jogged to the camp. "I'm so gonna tap that."
