Shy!Stan stancest AU headcanon things!!
Time for brain vomit!! Ok so ages ago I wanted to do a stancest 'Komi can't communicate AU' and now that I've kinda stepped back into fandom GF Let me just destroy your timeline with it!! We're gonna start how I always start with a new AU .... A LIST OF HEADCANONS
1) This is gonna be shy stan based but his look is defs more like canon stan, only with his glasses
2) Ford and Stan will still be twins but Stan was given up for adoption when the twins were born but they won't find out till much later
3) Stan's family moved out of Glass Shard Beach years ago, about a year after he was born and adopted by another family out of state. But moved back a year before graduating high school
4) he along with his adoptive parents decided he should try to interact with teens his age since Stan was homeschooled most of his life
5) Stan was homeschooled because his parents job had them moving around alot anyway.
6) but because of the constant moving and new environments, Stan never got to really make any friends and didn't get much social interaction so hence he became shy and nearly mute.
7) Luckily for him, ( or unluckily) his good looks immediately made him popular in his last year of high school and his silent nature just made even more mysterious and cool in the eyes of the student body.
8) Ford on the other hand, was a delinquent all the way up to his last year in middle school and from there decided to try and be more well mannered. Especially after a girl he liked had rejected him not only for his bad attitude but also (of course) for his extra digits. After finally convincing his parents to let him transfer to a different highschool for his last year, that is where he sees Stanley walking to the same school for the first time and was immediately smitten.
9) They sit next to each other in class and both stand to introduce themselves, Ford going first and giving the air of just a well mannered nerdβ¦
until he embarrasses himself by trying to be over friendly and floundering more when he looks over to see Stan looking at him so intently.
10) When Stan is introduced, he doesn't use words, but darts to the board and writes his name with such grace and leaves the whole class in awe that nobody even questions why he even went to the board in the first place.
