You wouldn't believe what I did today. Unintentionally. It just happened. I felt so thankful for today and everything that has led me to these moments. Nothing out of the ordinary extraordinary happened today. I am still stuck in the dead-end job that I have been working for 9 years, I am not much closer to finishing school or having a career that will afford me financial independence, I live with my parents because I can’t make enough at the job I’m at to have my own place to call home for my daughter and myself, I have little to no social life or time to myself because I am so busy with the responsibilities that I already have taken on. I just felt thankful for no rhyme or reason at all. For the first time in years; I prayed. I am beside myself. I thought I shut that door. I don't know what happened or what to think about it. It was one of those things when you don’t realize what you have done until it happens and you don’t understand how it even happened. It was automatic; almost like a habit. A habit that I haven’t practiced in years. It doesn’t make sense, I know.
