I have been considering this myself

there was NOTHING for him here. at least he didn’t expect there to be anything for him. he’s in his van when the police radio catches his interest, turning the volume up after vaguely hearing about a robbery that is going down. normally robberies wouldn’t CONCERN HIM, but whenever a policeman mentioned that there were bodies -- he automatically knew what needed to be done. eyes narrow as he puts his car in drive, not hesitating to go directly to where the robbery is commencing. no, cops were hesitant. not to mention they would have NO IDEA what they’re doing. frank assumes he would come up with a solid enough plan by the time he arrives.

a hand CALLOUSES the machine beside him, an index and a thumb from another hand coming to guide a motion stick around. wires are plugged into the vault right next to him, and it’s clear that he’s FOCUSING. there wasn’t really much to worry about, considering how they had effectively locked up the entire building so no one could come in. the gunshots, sure enough, alerted the police, but he didn’t really CARE. they wouldn’t be here long. ❛ alrigh’, ❜ he begins, cockney accent strong. ❛ ‘bout thirty more minutes, give or take. we get our money, an’ th’ rest ov’ those muppets in th’ other room DIE. we’re makin’ great time. ❜ the plan is reviewed FREQUENTLY. gates assumes neither of them want another vicellous drum accident reoccurring.

        This would be easier to get through if she knew, for a fact, that he BELIEVED her. Supportive as he may have been -- he thought she was unbalanced. That everything was in her head. He never PUSHED her to try medication -- it was why she stayed. But that didn’t mean he also understood. So a lie, then. Maybe that would be better. 

But, God, she’s not a good liar. Especially not when there’s still blood rolling down her arm and dripping off her fingertips ...
