I’ve been taking a break from art at the moment (excluding commissions) to focus on learning coding and developing my website (along with making tools for other artists to make their own websites), so I don’t think there will be any visual art tutorials any time soon. Though honestly, how I place things on a sketch page is pretty simple:
I draw the big sketches on the page that I’m most interested in / want more focus on
I draw little doodles, and random ideas that come up while drawing step one, in the gaps between the big sketches
That’s it! I personally am a big fan of sketch pages where they overlap and can look like an accidental sequence, I think the best example I ever did was for some ancient OCs back in the 2010’s:

One little question for you, hope it's not a bother--
Do Disconauts and Psychonauts take place in the same general universe? Like, do the Psychonauts exist there? Do the RCM ever call up the Psychonauts for help or vice versa? I'd assume they don't acknowledge each other (both being in different parts of the world and such) but imagine Harry having to get at least a little training by actual experts.

I think Disconauts is in its own universe to keep the other aspects of the world the same (Revachol, the pale, etc) rather than trying to fit Psychoanuts to that or vice versa. So they would have their own experts but it'd be more underground.
However, the idea of some poor collection of agents trying to train Harry 'Fuckatoo' Du Bois is very funny. The fact that he can summon so many different archetypes all at once would be enough to get him in the history books.

An idea for disconauts au, the paper each archetype is made of is different for each one. Ex: Encyclopedia's paper is made from an encyclopedia page and Electrochemistry's paper is made from an alcohol magazine page and/or bar napkin
That's a good idea! I personally like the idea of each psychic's archetypes being on different types of paper rather than each archetype having its own, which I already did a bit of in a PN art piece I did in 2021 (Original post: https://scribblemakes.tumblr.com/post/671464552000585729/happy-holidays-silvers-fan-blog-im-your-gift )
For Harry and Kim, I think Harry's archetypes would first be summoned on bar napkins or record case cardboard, then it'd either stay as a record case or become a sketchbook page (if he's an artcop). It's got to be something disco or coptype related. If Kim could summon archetypes I think his would be on the same paper as his notebook.
