i used to watch her videos a lot in middle school. she helped me through a really rough time, and getting back into her content i’ve found she’s just as sweet as she’s always been

What shelby went through is horrible. There's no other way to say it. She deserves the world for speaking her truth and through that, raising awareness in others who are going through similar situations. It's a very black and white situation and i do not get how anyone could defend her abuser with the knowledge of the horrible things he did.
I'm shocked that a person i felt i could trust to be a somewhat honest representation of themselves, turned out to be the exact opposite. I feel so betrayed for investing a majority of my time and artistic energy for the last 3 years into her abuser. I pour my blood, sweat and tears are into my fanarts and evolved so much since i started watching dsmp. I'll keep the past fanarts up because they show my artistic journey inside of a wonderful community of other highly talented creative people.
However, i won't draw any more art involving CC!Wilbur. Every video of him feels like i'm being lied to my face. All of it a fascade. There was a trust once, which he betrayed in every single one of us, that in my eyes can never be restored.
Hiya I've decided to take down my previous posts because supporting Shelby is more important than focusing on the abuser.
Please remember that this is Shelby's brave choice to share this, so we support *her* in any way we can.
Shelby deserves the recognition of coming out on a such a brave thing then being known as "[who ever the abuser is] victim ex" or something. IDC who the abuser is, I am NOT paying any more attention to him as long as the name is not spoken. (Shelby can't say his name, they have their reasons legally.)
Please understand that we still do not know if it's Wilbur to began with. It shouldn't matter what so ever who the abuser even is, as I've realized this myself, you should be more focused on supporting shubble.
Support shubble. Ignore the abuser, we don't need to give him attention. We know he's dangerous and a bad person. Please remember human morals.
As one can imagine, the past few days have been a whirlwind for myself and many in the mcyt/dsmp community. In light of Wilbur's recent confession, I wanted to get my stance crystal clear and out in the open. (cws for abuse mentions)
I support Shubble in speaking out, especially in her being incredibly brave.
I do not support the actions of Wilbur Soot.
Domestic abuse or violence is never justified.
Going forward:
I have unfollowed/will be unfollowing Wilbur on all social medias (apologies if I forget any or take time clearing them all out)
I will no longer be posting anything positive about Wilbur on this blog
I WILL be interacting with fan content about the Dream SMP, including content of his character. This will be tagged with #cw c!wilbur . If I forget, please feel free to remind me, and feel free to block the tag. This is because I believe in those stories and characters, especially Ghostbur. I support people who are distancing themselves from these characters. I support if you do not feel comfortable interacting with me because of this.
I am currently working on changing my theme away from 'AYA?' (2/27/24)
I will be waiting for responses from CCs such as Philza, Quackity, Tommy etc. before casting judgement. I understand this might take time. I openly support those who have already spoken out against his actions.
Please allow me a small amount of grace as I navigate how I will approach Lvjy content from now on. UPDATE: as of now I have removed them from my circle of music.

I do not regret being a part of these communities. They have brought me such joy and friendship that I couldn't bear to. The only regret I have is any monetary support I may have given Wilbur in the past.
I also recently reblogged posts before there was confirmation of Wilbur's identity asking people to focus on Shubble rather than tracking the abuser down. I was very careful in my reposts and I stand by being cautious, especially as I had not watched the VOD (it was taken down at the time and I didn't want to invade Shubble's wishes-- I took lead from the Shubble Updates Twitter account).

In light of recent events, I’m going to remove as many mentions of Wilbur Soot as possible from my account. I will no longer listen to his music or Lovejoy’s music. I’m going to wait on other ccs until they have time to process and respond to what happened (even if that just means unfollowing, or making a quick statement in support of Shubble). Wishing the best on Shubble and all the other abuse victims who have spoken up, that’s incredibly hard to do and I’m so proud of you. Remember to take care of your mental health and I hope you’re all well.
