I DON’T THINK ROVER ACTIVELY SEEKS OUT TO BE A LEADER, BUT.. he has this quality that gets him really excited about what’s up ahead, or maybe even just a thought that crosses his mind, and then he kinda puts himself in a leader position. NOT THAT HE... pushes aside who ever was the leader before, he more or less makes himself ANOTHER leader, like the “you could do that.... or you could do this! which is what i’m doing! i’m going now! bye!” and you have the choice of following him as a leader.

24. Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why?

Mm.. I wouldn’t say he has enemies.. bullies, I guess, but nothing to the point of an enemy! 

30. Finally; if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why?

LAUGH. pizza. he’d argue the fact that if he picks pizza he’ll always get the option to pick whatever toppings he wants on it, but if you really push for a single pizza type he’d do like. meat lovers. all the meat options

toshio only ever really gets sick like.... once in a blue moon. when he does... well, he’s not gonna go out, do anything that involves meeting with clients in person, go to school, etc, bc he doesn’t want to get anyone else sick?? but aside from that he’s still gonna try to get any work that needs to be done... well, done. kind of a workaholic. thanks, man.

Rover is happy by default. It’s an automatic thing for him because he has such a wide point of view of the world — getting caught up in little bumps in the road don’t necessarily phase him, since, dude, look at the bigger picture! There’s so much more out there, y’know? 

(Not to say he doesn’t have bad days, obviously, or certain moments where he struggles to see beyond a single road block, but he generally can find something positive in the smallest of things; it’s how he was raised!)

That said, if he does slip and find himself down in the dumps you can make him smile or laugh with certain things! 

The easy things: bad jokes, silly faces. He’s a simple boy and doing things for him makes him a lot happier than giving him, like, advice. 

Slightly more difficult but works a lot better: do something you’re kind of embarrassed by and he knows so. So, like, say if you weren’t too fond of your singing voice but you just broke out in song, or you’re not too sure of your dancing skills and just started doing the chicken dance or robot or something, ya got him smiling and most likely up and joining you after a bit. 

Doing something “out of character”. As in, if you were stoic and passive and a top student or something and you brought you palms up against your mouth and blew out really loudly to make a fart noise he’d find that hilarious. Things like that mean a lot more to him because he knows you’re stepping outside your box for his sake! And it means a lot to him!

It was stated in his 35 facts but Yutaka is pretty close to his maternal grandfather, Isao Kurosawa! Isao isn’t actually very old, he’s about 60 atm (well while Yutaka’s 16.) He’s a bit of a Stern Grumpy Old Man who provides some contrast to the animated Yutaka; Isao helped to raise Yutaka for a good portion of his childhood. Yutaka fondly remembers sometimes following his grandpa out to cafes to eat (free) snacks and ice creams.

MORE... ANGER... Well Yutaka’s actually an incredulously petty 16 year old kid. Seriously ‘wrong’ him once - or get on his bad side once - and you’re basically there F O R E V E R. He’ll see you in a bad light. Forever!!! (okay this fact is obviously Subjective, but as of pregame, Yeah.) Even if he’s not really obvious about it, you might be able to realise it if you’re perceptive enough.
