If there was a way in, then there was a way out -- Sango was taking that sentiment to heart! She was convinced that, somewhere in this mansion, the path to freedom was hidden away. All they had to do was find it.

Unfortunately, she still wasn’t having any luck.

For what felt like the bazillionth time, Sango entered the sitting room. There probably wasn’t any reason to keep looking at the same walls over and over again, but she couldn’t just give up! This time, though, she spotted someone else in the room --

“Han-san!”

She called out to the other girl without thought, shuffling her way over to where she sat. Of course! Suzume was a crime analyst -- emphasis on the analyst! Who better to help her look for a way out?

There weren’t cherry blossoms falling or sunlight filtering through the trees that day, but there was a peaceful aura in the garden air nonetheless. And though Eiji approached the reading girl, he stopped a bit away as not to disturb that aura.

He recognized her from the club, though her name remained elusive. How unfortunate. Even more unfortunate was that she looked so engrossed in her book. He took a couple steps toward her so that his shadow would fall over her book ever so slightly. Hopefully that would catch her attention, though wouldn’t disturb her too much.

“Ah,” he began, “Do you have a moment, miss?” He smiled. “You’re in the Murder Game Club, correct? I would like to know if you could help me practice lines? I need someone to help me and you seem like the type who would give honest feedback.”

He moved aside so he’d no longer be blocking the sunlight. As he did so, he glanced up at the sky.

80. How do they spend a rainy day?

At a rehearsal, usually! However, he’s not adverse to reading some books while bundled up in a blanket or even going out to see a non-kabuki play/musical if he’s in the mood and he has the free time.

81. Your character is running late but need to grab something to eat. What do they get?

If he has enough time, Nori might try to pick up some inarizushi from the deli. Otherwise, he’ll probably end up running into a supermarket, buying as many sweet breads as he can, paying for them really fast, and running back out again. 

82. If they could have one superpower, what would it be? Choose wisely, it could have drawbacks to them.

He’d probably think that shapeshifting would be the most useful to him in his daily life. He would spend so much less time in makeup and costuming...

83. Have they ever had to tell someone a lie to protect them? Did they regret doing it or not?

Higashiyama really hasn’t had to do that.

...Yet.

84. What do they do if they have a really bad nightmare?

He goes into the backyard and starts screaming usually tries to make himself some tea or hot cocoa before going back to sleep. Hot drinks usually calm him down!

85. If the opportunity to join an adventure appears, but for your character to participate the’d need to leave their current life behind without knowing if they’ll ever come back, would they go no matter what? Or would they prefer to stay with their current life?

27. How does your character normally deal with confrontation?

Higashiyama is kind of like one of those weird birds, in that when confronted he tries to make himself appear bigger than he usually is. However, he often loses focus on pretty much everything when this happens. Anyone who’s ever had a debate of sorts with him knows that he usually beats around the bush when it comes to making points.

28. How quick or slow is your character to resort to physical violence in a confrontation?

Though he’s actually quite physically strong, Nori prefers not to resort to any kind of violence. Can you imagine what a number that would do on his hair and makeup?? That shit takes hours to wrangle, he’s not risking it unless there’s something serious at stake

29. What did your character dream of being or doing as a child? Did that dream come true?

He never really had any feasible career goals as a kid (he wanted to be a cowboy or a samurai), so he didn’t accomplish those. However, he does play a samurai, so does that mean he actually did accomplish his childhood goal? Who knows...

30. What does your character find repulsive or disgusting?

You know what he absolutely cannot stand? Eels. Sure, Higashiyama’s fine with eating them, and he’s okay with them in the water, but if you hand him one he’ll be running out the door before you can even say the word “eel”. He thinks they’re creepy and gross.

31. Describe a scenario in which your character feels most comfortable.

How does your character treat people in service jobs?

hmm…i cant say they treat them any different than anyone else? theyre polite, say what they need and thats about it.

Does your character feel that they deserve to have what they want, whether it be material or abstract, or do they feel they must earn it first?

the latter definitely. they dont understand how some people can think that because they are a certain way that they deserve things that others must earn. its not realistic to them.

Has your character ever had a parental figure who was not related to them?

yes! their mentor from the observatory, tobio, is the closest thing they would call a parental figure thats not their actual parents. since he was the one who helped them get more serious about their hobby/soon to be profession, they owe him a lot.

Has your character ever had a dependent figure who was not related to them?

hmm….can i say their bird or is that weird? because they dont really have anyone else other than that LAUGHS

How easy or difficult is it for your character to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it?

its a little bit hard for them since expressing emotions is not an easy thing for them to do-especially verbal things like that. theyd probably say it in other ways like getting someone their favorite food or something. not so much saying it.

they technically can but its really easy to tell that they dont mean it a bit-theyre not the best liar LAUGHS

What does your character believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?

oh goodness, i hadnt thought about it.

prrrrrobably the whole “you go to heaven and have a good afterlife there” thing. theyve never really given that much thought to be honest. its just not something interesting to think about for them.
