A Jake Moment.
One morning, Elaine headed out for her shift as a psychologist, leaving Jake behind to enjoy his day off. Since they had been overspending on takeout lately, Elaine was genuinely looking forward to a home-cooked mealāspecifically, the way Jake prepares chicken. Before leaving, she gave him clear instructions to take the chicken out of the freezer to thaw so he could have it ready by the time she got home.
Unfortunately, Jakeās day off took a turn for the unproductive. Between a long nap and an intense session of computer games, the chicken remained forgotten in the back of the freezer.
When Elaine finally walked through the door, exhausted and hungry, she didn't find the aroma of a home-cooked meal. Instead, she found Jake still at his computer and the chicken still a solid block of ice. Frustrated by the lapse in memory, she called him into the living room to vent her disappointment. To make sure the lesson really stuck, she capped off her lecture by pointing right at him and delivering six classic words. Check out the video below.
