A Jake Moment.
One morning, Elaine headed out for her shift as a psychologist, leaving Jake behind to enjoy his day off. Since they had been overspending on takeout lately, Elaine was genuinely looking forward to a home-cooked meal—specifically, the way Jake prepares chicken. Before leaving, she gave him clear instructions to take the chicken out of the freezer to thaw so he could have it ready by the time she got home.
Unfortunately, Jake’s day off took a turn for the unproductive. Between a long nap and an intense session of computer games, the chicken remained forgotten in the back of the freezer.
When Elaine finally walked through the door, exhausted and hungry, she didn't find the aroma of a home-cooked meal. Instead, she found Jake still at his computer and the chicken still a solid block of ice. Frustrated by the lapse in memory, she called him into the living room to vent her disappointment. To make sure the lesson really stuck, she capped off her lecture by pointing right at him and delivering six classic words. Check out the video below.

Subtle Reflection The Apple-sponsored short comedy “Le Peintre” is filled with cinematic touches. For example, take a close look at the left-side of this two shot. The reflection of the woman enables us to simultaneously see her face and profile. Directed by J.B. Braud, “Le Peintre” is the current Mobile Movie of the Week. You can see it at MobileMovieMaking, where you’ll also find a very detailed “making of” video. #reflectioin #two-shot #shotoniPhone #shortcomedy https://www.instagram.com/p/Chkm5OEF4I5/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

KAPERNIK WAY short comedy
KAPERNIK WAY very short comedy Hello everyone. Still splash my creativity around in differend ganre. Comedy on my opinion one of most difficult one. Maybe little bit black, by the way comment what do you think about. Same as anyother my video try fix little bit deep meaning with comedy.
Mobile Movie of the Week "SAD SACHS" Joel Perlgut’s “Sad Sachs”—which took the 2019 top prize at @SF3Fest—is about as dark as a comedy can get…while still being hilarious. The director (@joelperlgut) even gets laughs out of a neo-Nazi sequence that Lenny Bruce probably would have loved. At SF3, the nine-minute movie also took prizes for its screenplay, cinematography, and lead actors. Because the dialogue delivery is machine-gun fast, you might want to turn on subtitles…even if you speak Australian. You can see the movie—chosen as a Mobile Movie of the Week—at MobileMovieMaking (link in profile). Just click the slide in the homepage slideshow. And while you’re there, check out the Preview 2020 Video Contest. A 60-second video could win you a copy of Final Draft screenwriting software or another terrific prize. #mobilemoviemaking #mobilemovieoftheweek #comedyfilm #shortcomedy #LennyBruce #family https://www.instagram.com/p/B7g-2sDBn1U/?igshid=10mvwwzl593dr
Tip #181. USE LOW-ANGLE SHOTS TO CREATE NOVEL IMAGES. One challenge for filmmakers is to take something familiar and make it new or even strange. So, for example, we all know something about robots. But the Terminator’s relentlessness gives us a novel perspective on artificial human-like entities. Another way to put a twist on the familiar is to shoot your movie from an extreme low angle. That’s what George Nolfi did in his short soccer comedy “Tough Crowd.” The director allows us to see the action in a way that’s totally different from the sidelines. While taking low-angle shots is a lot easier than constructing a robot, it does require effort. It might even involve getting your knees dirty, but that’s a small price to pay for wowing your viewers. Speaking of novel images: You might want to include one or a few when entering our Preview 2020 Video Contest. Deadline is December 31, 2019. You’ll find all the rules at MobileMovieMaking (link in profile).
