Shoran was a Wookiee warrior and explorer, and friend of Chewbacca. In his youth, Shoran assisted Chewbacca’s family and Jedi Qui-gon Jinn and Obi-wan Kenobi in establishing a colony on the moon Alaris Prime, combating the Trade Federation. Later, Shoran helped liberate Kashyyyk following the death of the Emperor.

He may have the body of a 25-year-old and most (if not all) of Shiro’s memories, but he’s experiencing things like touch, emotions, and hormones for the first time. Everything feels so much bigger than it should. It’s hard to keep his feelings under wraps, and he tends to latch onto anyone who shows kindness and is remotely attractive to him. 

He fell for Keith when he saved him from deep space and helped him recuperate. but he feels kind of weird about it. There’s nothing technically wrong with it. They’re not related or anything, but he’s been Keith’s mentor for so long, and Keith has said he’s like a brother to him. And if Shiro felt anything like that for him before, he’d never felt it so intensely as he does now. It frightens him a bit. So he pulls back, distances himself physically and emotionally, tries not to look at Keith too long in his Marmora ninja garb because otherwise shiro.exe will stop. But when he comes back? Two years older, grizzled, buffer, still in that Marmora suit that looks a little too tight? Oh lord have mercy... He’s a panicked stuttering mess. He’s expecting their traditional hug, but hoping to be shoved against a wall and kissed breathless--oh shit, his mom’s here. gotta keep it together. 

Did Matt get taller? He looks taller. And he still looks like a nerd but like a... rugged nerd, if that’s possible. Maybe he shouldn’t have hugged him. Maybe that was too forward, but he was so happy to see him. And he low key (high key) wants to hug him again. 

Lotor saved them all. He saved Voltron. He saved Keith. He saved the entire coalition. He gets, on an intellectual level, why they need to be cautious. But do they need to be that cautious? He’s been nothing but helpful and cooperative with his intel and they all really want the same thing, to take down and reform the Galra empire. Also he’s so tall, and his hair looks really soft and his voice is so soothing. Hand him over t be killed?? Are you nuts?! He’s gotta save Sam, yes, but... He’s just gotta save Lotor too. He hopes his helmet hides the color rising on his face as he leans in close to pass off his bayard and whisper the plan in the prince’s ear. He doesn’t think he’s too obvious, stealing glances at Lotor in the Black Lion’s cockpit, looking stoic and regal and oh so focused on the task at hand. And he hopes those beautiful pointy ears are just for show, and he can’t hear his heart pounding when a large clawed hand comes to rest on the back of his pilot’s seat. Is it hot in here? Feels really hot in here. 

He feels so bad for yelling at Lance. Why would he do that? He didn’t use to have such a hard time controlling his temper. What’s wrong with him? But Lance still forgave him. What the heck? Lance is too kind. He doesn’t deserve it. And Lance is so kind to listen to his fears, and comfort him, and sit with him, and wow his shampoo smells really nice. His skin is flawless, and even in the dark his eyes seem to shine so bright, and ... uh-oh... 

It’s different with Allura. He remembers them getting along so well, working side by side, of a mind on most things and willing to discuss and compromise on others. Why is it suddenly so difficult to articulate what needs to be done and why? Why is it his first instinct is to feel threatened at any disagreement? He hadn’t felt that reaction since he was a teenager. But then again, why does he always have to explain himself so much, and why is it so hard to do so? Why does she feel the need to get in his face about it and make the blood rush to his neck and ears--totally in righteous indignation, and not at all because he wants to lean in and kiss her... nope, definitely not that. Does not want to feel the softness of her lips and watch those otherworldly eyes flutter shut while she moans against his mouth and--shit shit shit shIT SHIT! 

It really was so good of Coran to set up that game for them all. It was so much fun, and it really helped with his headache. Even though he was annoyed of Shiro’s character, he still came up with a story idea for him. That’s so cool and thoughtful and he never noticed before but mustaches are kinda hot and... not again.
