Hi, I have a huge chapter of healing in my life that I would like to finish. I got this tattoo about a decade ago with someone who was my best friend at the time, and we were friends for like 9, almost 10 years. We got these matching tattoos, and while no one else would know it's matching, I do.
Things ended badly, like very badly. Maybe I could tell you the full story about it someday. To give a sample of what happened, they had very bad anxiety and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). It's ok to have anxiety and BPD, but it's what you do with your anxiety attacks that makes the difference. They would let their anxiety get the best of them, and they would take it out on me and my friends. So much to the point that our friendship became incredibly toxic. They refused to work on themselves and would let their anxiety be their reality. So I left. I had to go.
It's been about 7 years since we stopped being friends, but I still have this tattoo. Each year, it feels worse and worse looking at this tattoo because I hate it so much, and I hate the way this person treated me and my friends. I'm at a point that I can't do this anymore, and it's time to move on and grow more from this healing journey.
