He wants to-- really, he does. But he can’t stop pacing, he can’t stop thinking, rethinking. There are so many things wrong, and he doesn’t know how to handle them. Maybe talking to Kori will help, maybe it won’t.

“Well, that sounded vaguely like a threat.” Dick grinned - he was potentially a little too relaxed, but he’d never been afraid of the dark ( or the people who lurked under its cover ). WIshes, however, were a bit shakier ground. He’d made wishes, of course - there had been birthdays and lost eyelashes, numbers on a digital clock and ( only once ) a shooting star - he’d been a child, once upon a time, but that didn’t mean that he was certain of the rules. “What happens to wishes made in the dark?”

The weather has been painfully frigid--so cold that even the bad guys are slowed down. Between that and half the team being away, the tower’s been quiet. When your life is mostly fighting crime and running training maneuvers, the silence is welcomed. It’s also...Foreign. The adrenaline vanishes and things are almost...easy. Three days in and he doesn’t know what to do with himself. So when she asks to reenact a scene in a movie, he doesn’t have a reason to say no.
