okay wow tates at 10 well i have some vivid memories of tates at 12 on neopets (whose life was teen titans and danny phantom BUT THEY WERENT OUT YET WHEN I WAS 10) (tates at 10 had none or limited computer access) and so i will channel her but younger um. tates at 10 wouldve blogged about digimon (that would’ve been around the start of season 3? i was very unsure of season 3 in the beginning. there was a lot of I MISS MY FAVES. WHY DIDN’T TAI AND SORA GET TOGETHER?? DID TK AND KARI GET TOGETHER? also she had a theory that season 3 was a ways in the future where the books tk had written about their digiworld adventures had become the tv show and card game etc in the new season. and that something had happened that meant all the digimon had to go back and no one remembered tks books were nonfiction, and that their teacher was kari and she actually DID know what was going on but couldnt SAY anything. these are all things i really thought) and pokemon (the show complaining about how she wanted misty back, plus her excitement about FINALLY being able to play ruby when it actually came out but she was probably playing silver? finally? i think ruby came out when i was. 11 maybe 12. ). also the amanda show (do u mean to tall me the amandaplease website is REAL. dude she freaked out). but her obsession would be the harry potter books. she would be playing chess and identifying with ron SO HARD and waiting for next year when she would get her hogwarts letter and and quoting the movie(s) (chamber of secrets came out when i was 10) and this is really long wow (i hope u appreciate the googling i did to make sure i was thinking of the right year)

you say you’re in fire emblem hell like you’ll ever get out of it, which is doubtful. but don’t worry, siofra, i still love you. i’ll always love you. even if you ask really dumb questions, like, “am i allowed to ask about casey/hunter date nights?” which is functionally the same as “am i allowed to breathe?” yes, siofra. yes, you are.

date nights would be difficult to have in the actual school setting since, you know, i am positive that the staff imposes a mandatory curfew, the breaking of which is punishable by, like, electrocution torture (just a guess), and casey, being a tough and logical leader, would not want to use the cover of night for silly things like dates and would prefer to have rebel student alliance meetings in the basement like she normally does. 

hunter, though. he probably comes up with so many creative ideas of how to take someone on a date at mga—picnics, scavenger hunts in the library, building a pillow fort, going on a fucking walk or something stupid—and when he starts going to the AV club meetings, he has an epiphany. 

you don’t read the comic so i’m gonna tell you a little somethin’: hunter is now part of the AV club, a bunch of nerd kids (two of whom are cute girls who are dating and in love) who meet up in their dreams. think inception, but more charming. they have a dream clubroom with a couch and chairs and posters and probably snacks where they can watch dream movies, in their dreams. which is nice, because the academy doesn’t allow them to have DVDs, and there’s no internet. i’m not quite sure on what the rules are for this, like, who can actually come into these dreams and interact with other people in the same dreamspace, i presume it has to do with having your eyes opened (which you’ll learn about), and if it does, that means casey could theoretically be brought in, and can you imagine hunter getting all hyped up on this plan to have a movie night with casey and specifically making sure none of the other AV club kids would be there and trying to pick a movie he thinks she would like and convincing her to give it a try by excitedly being like, “just go back to your room and go to sleep” “hunter what i thought you said we were watching a movie” “trust me!! take a nap. right now” “um”

otherwise, i’ll bet sometimes when jade and ike are off making out in an empty classroom somewhere and jun and guillaume are out late boxing and pamela is….. being pamela in another location, hunter sneaks over to casey’s room with secret snack contraband that he stashed in his bag, or she goes over to his in her sweats and foster the people t-shirt with every intention of doing something productive like studying or drawing up strategy plans for escape, or something, but they just wind up sitting there talking about nothing for an hour and laughing at each other and hunter turns off all the lights except his nightlight and drapes a blanket over the side of the bunk beds and pulls out a sleeve of oreos and when casey asks him what he’s doing he gets all embarrassed and is like “i thought we could have a blanket fort or something, i don’t know, it was dumb” 

keep dreaming siofra. omfg. go home.
