i meant to make a post to summarize what my shockdad language barrier au is about but like. literally the ao3 fic summary good just as it is?

Im just going to yap anyway.

so, basically. the whole idea is what if the Decepticons were winning and theres a language barrier where the cons and autobots dont speak the same language. megatron then instructs shockwave to try and rehabilitate an autobot to see if its possible, so they can decide if they will totally annihilate the autobots when they win or not. bee gets caught by shockwave and he's the first minibot subject. shockdad teaches bee how to speak Destron (con language) and very slowly and systematically removes every piece of autobot from bee as time goes on. He removes the autobrand, uninstalls Neo Cybex (autobot language)(and thats totally a thing you can do haha) and overall just drowns bee in trauma before realising he doesnt want to give bee trauma when its too late. oopsies! at the same time, bee, unable to get away gets Stockholm syndrome while shock gets lima syndrome. they're both reasonably self aware of this and very unhappy about it lmao

anyway. imma just make separate posts about the rest of the language stuff and worldbuilding things as i post new chapters. heres the first worldbuilding post i did meanwhile. the next one might be about age, maturity and minbots, basically explaining why bees a child soldier
