I learnt in my French classes that it's common for French schools to end early on Wednesdays - is this true for all schools? Do you think Collège Françoise Dupont does this? Does it happen for both collèges and lycées?

But to quickly answer your question, yes usually we have full days of school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, while we have only half a day (the morning) on Wednesdays. Veeery rarely some won't have school on Wednesdays mornings but on Saturdays mornings instead, but it's really not common and even less now than a few years ago.
This goes for both collèges and lycées, however some lycées have exams on Wednesdays afternoon to prepare students for the "baccalauréat" (baccalaureate in English, it's a big exam at the end of high school). Mine had that, some had them on Saturdays mornings instead, and some didn't have them at all!
So Collège Françoise Dupont have school on Wednesdays mornings yes!
