#shit vision

Does anyone else only remember/ recognize things by only blobs of colour and shapes, genuinely can’t read half the time and just see words as shapes and not individual letters. (Yes I need glasses, no I don’t have any that work)

I know it’s time to get my eyes checked again because I keep thinking a bag of potatoes is my cat

so i have like the worst eye sight ever. honestly because today i went to the eye doctor, i have no fucking clue how to spell the actual word, and i found out i have an astigmatism AND one eye is a different perscription than the other one which is extremely common. AND HERE'S THE FUCKING WEIRD PART. The muscles in my eyes tend to cross. Like they just naturally do sometimes. which like what the fuck. So the doctor asked like 5 times if I ever get headaches while reading or have trouble reading or read slow and he asked if I wasn't doing well in school. I'm a fucking honors student with great grades .. well .. kind of and he was like so perplexed that I actually did well with such weird eyes. AND AS IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH HERE'S SOME MORE WEIRD SHIT, my left eye is near sided and my rIGHT EYE IS FAR SIDED. WHAT THE FUCK. so that's why i can't see anything without glasses. My eyes got way worse and now if i want contacts I have to have two different lenses that have two different functions so yeah i haven't even been fitted with them yet. UGH.
