i am still ass at backgrounds yet i want to make them so my digital art looks tuff
it's been one year since chapter 3 & 4 of deltarune came out, which means it has been around a year since my brain decided to (not so) slowly lash onto the pippins... so i decided to redraw the first pippins doodle i made!! decided to try to keep it as close to the original even though my brain said "i wanna change this, and that, and this" (...but i gave in and edited the dialogue a tiny bit though...)
the thing i'm most proud of in the remake is that my handwriting has gotten better and i'm not even joking.
anyways i like looking at these to see what was already stuff my brain had already incorporated in the designs (like pippins having eyelashes), what has changed between them (my art getting more saturated and me getting more used to drawing their heads) and what i liked more in the original (battat's empty stare idk i find it funny and wish i could have replicated it better....)
