my assumptions are that you don't like to cook and you prefer coffee over tea
Lol, ye. Both those are accurate.
I don't like cooking most of the time, but I took it up when our head-household chef started working nights. She really enjoys cooking and she'll cook when she has time and energy, but otherwise I've pretty much taken over both meal planning and cooking for the most part.
Fr tho, no matter what the recipe says, I always have to plan to take 3x as long because I'm slow af, ESPECIALLY if its a new recipe. On the plus side, I've learned a LOT and am slowly but surely becoming one of those peeps who can just look in a random persons pantry/fridge and figure out something to make from there. Plus ngl, once you have a homemade pot-pie, you can't go back to frozen. Kinda like going back to maruchan after having authentic ramen.
Also, ye coffee is very much emotional support beverage for me, to the point where I switch to decaf so I can continue drinking it throughout the day without overdosing on caffeine, lol. I even have a little coffee mug collection! I've got a mug for almost every obsession, so I can switch off which one I'm using based on what I'm fixated on at the time!
My emotional support beverage used to be tea (peppermint is still my fav), but my folks put such a taboo over coffee when I was younger, that I jumped headfirst on the coffee train when I was finally old enough to drink it.
