After a long day on set there was nothing Val hated more than rewrites. Yes they happened and were something everyone had to be used to but with everyone getting to wrap for a few weeks she just wanted to be done. Everything was being flushed out the way they wanted so her characters pregnancy news would drop in the final episode before the midseason break something fans would both love and hate. Cliffhangers were always fun. But the decision to add in a scene to be played like a flashback if it didn’t make it to an earlier episode was just exhausting. “They’re really playing up the love triangle to keep people on edge for who the daddy is.” She flipped to the next page before covering a yawn with the back of her hand. The script was taken out of her hands and before she had a chance to protest Knox was lifting her up into his arms. “I could have made it to bed. It’s your baby that makes me so tired.”

No one could ever say that Val and Knox weren’t into each other. It was something that translated pretty well on screen so she wasn’t surprised that his character had been brought back to cause a little drama. So the two of them got to spend a lot more time together recently with him being on the show. What was rare was the both of them working late since things were usually staggered a little to make it easier with Leo. But their son was tucked into bed with the nanny keeping an eye on him at home while things wrapped on set. It was easier that way so they didn’t have to wake him up to bring him back to the house. It also made things like this easier. Most of the crew had wrapped for the night but there were a few scenes that would be filmed on anther part of the set so Val saw nothing wrong with taking her husbands hand and pulling him towards one of the other set ups. “You know, we’ve made out a lot on these sets.” She didn’t need to point out that most of it was just them sneaking off together. “But I don’t think we’ve ever had sex here.”

Val sighed as she shifted closer to Leo in the bed before wrapping an arm around his middle. As much as she wanted to stay in bed with him and avoid going to work they both knew she couldn’t do that. Filming wasn’t something you could just skip out on even if she’d been told they were ending the show because of the tape that had been released. Things were winding down and it had already been made clear that this was going to be the last season but it still sucked. “You know I can’t. They’re already trying to write me out before the end of the season without it being obvious and that would just give them more reason to. At least how things are now I get a close out that makes sense.” Her character was going to study abroad so at least if they decided to keep the show going it would make sense that Val wasn’t on it anymore. “I only have like two weeks left anyway.”

It was going to take her a moment to catch her breath but a giggle left her as Knox kissed the front of her thigh. There would never be a complaint from her when it came to him kissing her skin but now she was exhausted. “Babe I can’t go again yet.” She smiled at her husband as she ran her fingers through his hair. “And you know that if we don’t get at least a little sleep tomorrow is going to suck.” Actually it would suck in a few hours when Leo was awake because their little boy loved waking up every few hours.
