the fact i had hexa's lore that she's a hopeless romantic but never lasts in relationships because either: she scares/kills them or gets bored, but like….…. oh i'm afraid pickman matches her freak

the first proper drawing i made of her was painting using blood as red paint, while pickman ALSO uses blood (however it's his own rather than from others) and body parts to create art + his art supplies like oh my god, bonding over their unconventional methods and messed up artworks……. like merely offering a gallery tour for each other would be next level flirting because they'd both immensely enjoy the twisted macabre art AND finally have someone that's not rightfully horrified or be forced to very anxiously agree through it while plotting their nearest escape route

but omg someone finally understanding their "twisted" vision and taste in art?? hexa being absolutely enamored with the fact his paintings are actually reflection of how he sees the world and eager to learn and compare more differences, while pickman is impressed she's able to depict such madness from imagination

pickman warping his models into horrific clawed monsters before he paints them, when hex ALREADY has a monster form (but if he made her even more monster-like, she'd be super into it), just imagine her finally being able to show her true form to someone and then that being the preferred one to paint!!!🥺

plus hex has the immortal aspect and pickman is half-ghoul so they can lovingly bite each other <3 and it won't be a problem when the paintings come alive and try to maul her akjfhgkajhdfkgh

another thing is hexa using her hypnotism in an attempt to get more people to compliment his artworks and ofc hosting unveiling parties in pickman's honor (her main occupation is a party host!!), she'll probably be a little bit evil with her wish-granting power tho and bind their souls together, even if temporary,,,,,,,,,,,, but she'd actually grant any wishes he asked for correctly and without harm, instead of corrupting it or adding some severe drawback

also since hexa already eats almost exclusively meat, she would fit RIGHT IN with necrovia's customs and feasts omg

speaking of customs, it's so funny that THEY BOTH inherited massive wealth from their family??? and both have servants/followers who are too afraid to enter their art studio, like they're so similar are you kidding me

also pickman granting hex the ability to view the world through his eyes??? oh my god she'd be having the time of her life, challenging that "reality is boring" mindset and her constant desire for more chaos, she'd NEVER want to leave. also hex would fully join him in getting high on dissolution slime and find immense enjoyment from it (even if it permanently alters some of her body/mind)

also the frenzy event confirmed my suspicions that it would either been a very long time or the first time(!!) for pickman having a romantic relationship/interaction like. oh my god the contrast!!!! hex having at least a hundred devotees across her lifetime adoring her and several dozen short-term relationships and hook-ups, getting so bored and jaded that breaking hearts ended up being the highest point of the relationship to her, but then meeting pickman and just. having her whole world turned upside down and tapping back into that old hopeless romantic that she thought was gone😭

however despite hexa's recent dating patterns, she STILL continues to write countless extremely clique and cheesy romance novels, so she'd be fully playing into those overused tropes and go into full heart-eyes yearning sweetheart mode

that said pickman being submissive while hexa is typically the dominant one works so well like oh my god,,,,,,,,,,,, especially considering that hexa is used to people only worshiping her in exchange for their wishes being granted and generally having some kind of power imbalance to get them to beg, so having someone just. BE LIKE THAT?? of their own volition and without asking??? oh she would be WEAK and at a loss for words,,,,,,,,,,,,

btw quick clarification on hex's hypnotism that it's extremely limited and she gets INSTANT "woe bleed out" karma if it's anything malicious or against another's will, it's more for stuff like. "you forgot my name" or "ok so tell me how you really feel?" but even those will result in a nosebleed and/or migraine
