It’s been a while since we’ve heard from @shinyzango‘s Hans and Clara on their adventures, but they’re far from over. And what better of a way to kick off our annual nutcracker celebration than to check in on them? Featuring the voice talents of @ahjones94, myself, and @lexi-the-writing-geek, here’s Meeting Scout ! Lexi wrote this lovely script for us, and while it took a while to get it all put together, I’m really glad we did. I hope you enjoy it just as much as we did performing it!

I was hoping to get this together before the holiday season ended, but alas, I’m only now getting over being sick for a month.Â
This is just a fun little scene I put together, featuring my take on what Clara from the story of The Nutcracker might sound like while reading aloud as she writes an entry in her diary. I’m still getting back into the swing of things with voice acting, so any constructive criticism is appreciated.
So, @shinyzango, of all the people who hear this, I hope that you enjoy it, as you’re the one I wanted to record this for. Thank you for sharing your wonderful version of this story with us. Just a little blooper for an upcoming dub of a certain feline’s amazing nutcracker story (wow, come to think of it, there are two felines involved, maybe even more than that). I’ve been having a blast getting through at least three different scripts tonight, it’s put me in a good mood. XD

So back when I was recording for Why Hans Can’t Sleep, I promised Zango and the rest of the nutcracketeers that I would share the bloopers, and now that I’ve remembered to do that, here they are all edited together. I will warn you that there is a lot of evil laughter towards the end of the middle, as originally during the mouse queen’s reveal, I had written the script to include an evil laugh with her transformation. Unfortunately, because I’m still figuring out how my Yeti works, I couldn’t manage to get a solid, authentic evil laugh without spiking the mic. There’s also a hissing that was intended to go after Hans’ battle cry, but this too was scrapped, as I felt it wasn’t necessary. As you can see, I have a lot of fun when I’m recording, and I hope you laugh just as much as I did both on and off the mic.
