What movie would I show Maximilien Robespierre if he landed in my house?

I guess first I’d need to figure out whatever or not I’d show him something with heavy political undertones to get his opinion, something that would explain the issues of our time or something completely silly just to see how he’d react to it.

Like do you show him the Lord of the Ring trilogy or Toy Story or Titanic just to see his reaction to that, or do you decide to go for A Prophete or Les Miserables (2019) so he can get an idea of the issues that arose in France since he met the national barber. 

I have a feeling 17-18 is simply too young for a lot of people to go to Uni. In law usually only 300 out of 600 make it past year one. And about 150-200 graduate at the end.There's a lot of high school kids with no clue what they want to do just picking degrees at random, and then failing at them.

It also doesn’t help, I think, that we are forced to choose an area of studies at 14 and are stuck with it during high school. The amount of stories I’ve heard of kids who are forced to go to sciences or economics because mom and dad said that’s what’s gonna earn them a good job and then get depressed because they spend 3 years in high school making an effort to learn shit they don’t care about.... it’s huge.

Granted you can be in Humanities and apply for college in like, psychology or something but you have to do specific exams. So I mean, when you have to chose your entire life (or what they TELL YOU is the basis of your life, and they put a lot of pressure on kids at 14 to choose wisely their high school group) at such a young age, I think you’re bound to fail that choice... Cause how the hell do you know

Sério. Só temos quadras, e as quadras não têm nomes, e sim números. Posso dizer, por exemplo, que "moro na quadra 412". É um excelente sistema pra se localizar (se você está na quadra 412, não precisa olhar um mapa ou pedir ajuda para encontrar a quadra 416, é só seguir a pista, passando pela 413, 414, 415...), mas é péssimo na hora de preencher formulários xD Mesmo fisicamente as quadras não se assemelham a ruas. São conjuntos de prédios que formam uma espécie de quadrado. Pra você ter uma ideia das quadras:

I use the kobo aura and I'm pretty happy with it. I don't really use amazon at all, so kindle didn't make a lot of sense for me. That and I mostly get Project Gutenberg or some other kind of free ebooks and it's very easy to just upload them directly with Kobo. I've heard Kindle is trickier in that sense, but since I've never used one, I can't really confirm.
