Finally got the shiny charm in pokemon let’s go eevee! Sorry for not posting shiny stuff for a really long time I’ve been forgetting to take pictures and just focusing on getting my shiny living dex done

after nearly five years, my son is reunited with me 🐢
for a bit of an explanation, i had a pet turtle named Pierce (after my favorite AC villager lol) and i loved him dearly, and just under five years ago he passed away. i started shiny hunting chewtle in my favorite game a few months after because it reminded me of him, but i was never able to get it.
since then i've been hunting it on and off, basically whenever there's an outbreak of them in SV. today, i logged on and immediately saw an outbreak. i made my sandwich, settled in to try and hunt him, and he showed up not even two minutes into the sandwich. he was the only shiny i found, and chewtle had a 50/50 gender ratio so it was a gamble on whether or not it would be pierce.
all this to say i'm kinda emotional about this and i'm rlly happy my son returns !! caught in a friend ball as was always intended. i hope you're resting well Pierce, i will love you always ❤️💚

oh my gosh my little shiny gecko has finally come home !!! our total for the end of this hunt is 6626 soft resets and 121 hours and 32 minutes (thanks 3ds activity log !!!) i've named him Rory and i can't wait to play through the game with him XD ❤️
