The next addition to Nynir Squad is Shinbone! A strong yet gentle presence, he more or less takes the Team Dad role within the squad, always there to talk or listen. However, on the battlefield he becomes a terrifying force to be reckoned with. Unlike many ARC troopers, while he carries a pair of pistols he also still makes use of a large rifle, which he is an excellent shot with. Once he gets to close range though, his rifle turns from a gun to a massive metal club which he will use to hammer a wide range of enemies.
Shinbone began the war as a member of the 109th Attack Battalion under the command of Jedi General Skenata Ashte. His name comes from his first combat deployment, in which he took down three battle droids with the shinbone of a large animal skeleton, saving his sergeant and two of his companions. He quickly distinguished himself as an expert warrior and was promoted to ARC trooper.
Shinbone became close friends with Master Ashte’s Padawan, Riishta Khel during the war. When Riishta was knighted and assigned to lead a rapid strike force, Shinbone and his other close friend Racket were the first two soldiers he approached to join it. Shin spent the last six months of the war fighting alongside the rest of Nynir Squad.
