You don’t need to slam StormBreaker Brewing ShiftBeer, although it’s easy to do. For those of you who like the pedantic tasting note, here’s ours when we took our time to evaluate this remarkable pint of Nelson single hop pale ale, brewed to commemorate the 3 year anniversary of launching all day happy hour: Pale straw color, moderate effervescent strength. Aromatics of green strawberry, golden raspberry, guava, Oolong tea, wet hay, floral nuance of chamomile. On the palate, dry with lemon pith bitterness and a hint of strawberry jam meets tart red cherry emerging. A NW style pale, but not overtly dank. Ultimately refreshing and crushable with 5.5% abv. We have about ten more kegs of the batch. Don’t miss this one. Just $3 all day, everyday. Nelson is a unique and costly hop. This beer allows you to taste why.
