If he expresses that thought, he’ll be assured that 

his daughter has been secured by an extraction team and is heading for a safe house, 

she informed the leader of the team that, if he was lying, and he was actually a Bad Guy, her father and uncle would, quote, whoop their butts, unquote and 

who gave her a taser, anyway?

(This is assuming, of course, that SHIELD was made aware of her existence for just such occasions as this. Otherwise, the voice will assure him that they can send an extraction team if he wants, and if not, they won’t interfere with him getting to her.)

Your phone rings in the middle of the night. You answer it– and a robotic-sounding voice says, “Get out of the house. NOW.”

The Fallen Star: You’re a deity, cast from the Upper World and into the great mortal city of Baranaia. You must choose: find a way to live among them (either evil or good)– or build an army of demons and take over the entire city….

Why? Because once again, a group of “AYN RAND KNOWS ALL” types have decided to overthrow THE MAN, and have begun their crusade by taking over a business building in Phoenix. They manage to accidentally to kill power to the building soon after AJ and Ilona arrive, “trapping” the agents’ elevator between the second and third floors.

Fortunately, it’s 1am, and everyone else in the building is gone, so it’s more of an irritation than any actual danger, and it takes the duo roughly forty-five minutes to get out of the elevator, and locate and arrest their opponents.

And they even have time for ice cream.

His only consolation is that he isn’t going to live through this.

He’s on the first floor of a collapsing building, his leg is broken, he can’t stop the bleeding and the air is full of smoke and chemical fumes, and there’s no way out of this one, and he didn’t even try to stop the bleeding, and there’s no way to call for help– the radio took a round at some point, and he isn’t, he’s not going anywhere. There isn’t going to be a last-minute rescue. He has no problem with that. He’s grateful for it, because death is a blessing, an unexpected, undeserved blessing.

The Ladder of Protective Flames - Your muse can cast a spell that will create a ladder roughly 75 feet tall, which you can use to escape an attacker. If your attacker then tries to climb up after you, the ladder will burst into flames– which will not touch you, or your surroundings, only your attacker.

The LDMCD– Long-Distance Microtransmitting Communications Device, sometimes called the LDD, but even more commonly called The Shrieker.

It’s only just been approved for field testing, and it has… a few bugs. The biggest one is that under exposure to certain audio wavelengths, it makes a high-pitched wailing noise, bursts into flame (only briefly! and not every time! and nobody’s had to be treated for anything more than very mild surface burns!) and stops working.

Your muse is 37 when he becomes zombified. At first, it… doesn’t go well. He finds himself, along with many others, quarantined and isolated, until it’s determined that they’re not contagious. The next 58 years are… well, not the best. But AJ is nothing if not stubborn, and after a long struggle, he manages to establish a zombie colony of sorts, where they can live without persecution.
