Black Bear Found Dead On Srinagar-Leh Highway

SRINAGAR: A black bear was killed after being hit by a vehicle on Srinagar-Leh highway near Shiekhbagh area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal On  22 Sep. Quoting officials of the wildlife department the news agency KNO reported that as they received the information, a team of wildlife departments recovered thebody of the bear. They said they shifted it to Dachigam National Park for further medical formalities, while a case has been also registered and further investigation was going on.
