I do see fanwork now and then where Kakuzu is interacting with Fuu like she just showed up and decided she was adopted by him one day, and those are fun and all, don't get me wrong! I just feel kind of bad for Shibuki though since in Fuu's filler arc he basically is acting like her actual adoptive dad. The man saved her from what I assume was an assassination attempt. The man risked the wrath of larger nations to keep her safe by sneaking jounin into the chuunin exams with her, lmao. I just think it's nice she had at least one person in her camp, if that makes any sense. Granted if someone were insane enough to acknowledge this but wanted to have their cake and eat it too by like. Pairing Kakuzu and Shibuki up or something. I'd at the very least hear them out lmaooo. Like I'd be intrigued, certainly.
